Ok Tootle Pufferes! I'm in quite the quandary that only another tootle puffer can relate to. So I've been in love with my ehpro kayfun 3.1 clone for a few years ago. I use a 7 wrap micro coil of 28gage wire on a 2mm. And I removed the air flow adjustment pin on the side. And I use the frosted plastic tank. I've tried other tanks but I keep going back to "old faithful" because I'm so used to that restricted MTL air flow. I'v decided to branch out again because some of these newer tanks have some great advantages. Such as a glass tank, top fill, and being able to do a rebuild without dumping the tank. So far I've tried the bachelor(full sized, not the nano. Cuz I don't want to do a refill during my busy day). Love the features, Hate, the air flow, even practically closed off. Next I tried the Serpent, again Hate the airflow. Both the serpent and the bachelor claim to be great single coil tanks for the MLT vaper, I fully disagree. I've heard good things about the merlin, but I'm a little trigger shy after dropping almost $60 for a couple of shelf decorations...So I guess what I'm asking is if anybody that has used the kayfun 3.1, and know of a tank that has a glass tank, top fill, and can get to the build deck with out dumping the tank. That has a comparable air flow to the 3.1. Is the merlin the answer to my plea? Help me tootle puffers! you are my only hope!

I haven't used the 3.1 so I can't give a good comparison. I like the Kayfun V4 and mini V3. Both top fill and tight enough draw for me. I have a merlin but haven't put a build on it. The size of the chimney makes me think it won't be a great tank for me.

The Merlin has a large chamber made to fit claptons and other large coils easily. It does have a air hole reducer for the inside of the deck. I think it takes it from 3mm down to 2mm and then the air adjustment ring would take care of the rest. If you are a full on MTL vaper I do not think the Merlin is a good choice IMO, especially for the builds that you are doing. I am going to link you too some tanks that I think would work for you.

Number one choice for me would be the Hurricane. The flavor is phenomenal, air flow is smooth and easy to set up. You fill it from the bottom though. Removing the deck and then fill the tank upside down like a Aspire Nauti does. It only comes with a plastic tank but it is very durable and has a steel spare. It is hands down the best flavor in a flavor chaser tank ive ever owned. $19.34 Hurricane Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 316 stainless steel + PC / 22.7mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$12.98 Kayfun Mini V3 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 2ml / 316 stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping This one has all the features you want and is a big hit for the MTL fans. Much easier to manage than the K4. I have a K4 and it would be a good option but the JFC is kind weird and there are allot of parts.

Lemo 2 is a great one. Easy to fill, does MTL vaping really well, has a glass tank and has a side fill option. I use a Lemo 1 every day and can say that the 2 is just as good but has more options. $25.05 Authentic Eleaf Lemo 2 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 3.8ml / stainless steel + glass at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Cloud One has gotten fantastic reviews for being a great MTL tank. Kafun type deck with some smaller air inlets giving you much the same vape. Comes with a plastic tank and steel section. $20.16 CloudOne Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4ml / 316 stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

SXK Corolla is a fantastic MTl tank that is easy to set up and vapes great. I have one and recommend highly. $26.00 SXK Corolla V1.5 RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - authentic / 316 stainless steel + glass / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Calix V2 is another good MTl that is equal with the Kafin in flavor and vapor. $23.12 Calix V2 Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 5ml / 304 stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Tillemahos V2, I have one of these and they are great tanks. Topfill, easy to build and has good quality materials. Highly recommend this one. $21.76 Tilemahos V2 Plus Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer - 4ml / 304 stainless steel + PC / 22mm diameter at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

hope that helped.

I just got my K5 Tobecco clone loaded & am vaping it. On the tightest air setting it's not as tight as a L+v2, I assume the 3.1 is same air as the +v2. I don't think they changed af between those. Never tried a v4 so no basis for comparison there. It's a slightly looser mtl than that. Setting 2 is a very loose mtl. Setting 3 is somewhere between very loose mtl & pretty restricted dl. Setting 4 is dl, but not like a wide open cloud chucker. Slightly less than that. The drip tip has a bigger bore, which effects all of that. You could use setting 1 & a dt with smaller bore & tootle away. I'm using setting 3. Great flavor, juice flow is great, no leaking, easy top fill without having to flip it over, just close the juice flow, fill, & put the top back on. I know the authentic is offering air restrictor kits, & they would probably fit this. Me likey!

I was just looking for one in the US but cannot seem to find one. Looks like its China or a authentic.

That is a beautiful shade of red! And with my weird color sensitivity I love it!
Im not sure exactly what the shade is. Its moving towards the burgundy range I think? I think your Hexohm is pretty close to what the Hana is but yours is powder coated and mine is anodized.

Maybe yours is anodized too not sure lol.
