Well I'm grounded then! I got a black one and just grabbed a dt, oddly enough one from a Squape, and been using it. The dt is silver and looks kinda cool on it honestly.
I think? I finally have my istick 200 happy for now. I dropped it the other day, don't do this, and it's been rather upset with me! I tweaked it a little, the latch for the battery door, and it was doing ok as long as I was gentle. Of course today it decides to act up in the car! I already had a backup ready as I didn't fully trust it. Tonight I tweaked the latch a lot more! Now I can toss it around and moderately smack it on a table and it still works. Hopefully it's happy the rest of the trip as that's what I bought it for! Didn't want to charge batteries all the time here.

I took about ten days off, so I just finished my 28 pages of catch up...

Now my eyes hurt!

Good night, all!

Jay :headbang:
I know the feeling having taken a bit of a break as well :D Anyway, I'm still happily tootle-puffing away (and I still haven't built a coil yet )

So, anyone else tried the Aspire Triton 2 yet ? With the 1.8 ohm coil and the air flow cranked down low it makes a great MTL tank. I am running it at 16 watts, flavor is awesome. I think I may have found my new tootle tank. Going to try out the RBA for it when I have some time this weekend.

And??????

I want one! Absolutely gorgeous!

It sure is a looker, but if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

My findings are here...
Looks like another budget squonker is on the way... COV Wraith

With a V-Mini and other RDAs, used as a V/W squonker, it can be a fun thing in the stable if you can find it for a good price. I doubt the finish will stay good looking for very long. If this was released at the start of 2015 it would have been amazing, but no USB charge, no TCR and no firmware update ability makes you wonder if this was a product that sat around on paper for a long time.

I am starting to be unimpressed with CoV products, top quality staged photos on the product pages and a mediocre Chinese final product.

Like everything in this vape game, YMMV

That's really disapointing to hear. I guess I'll pass on this one for the same reason I don't have a trophy wife, looks aren't everything.

Well, OK, I'm also not wealthy, so I probably wouldn't have been able to get a trophy wife anyway.

That's a shame but I do understand. I felt the same with the Plato...... Such promise and such a disappointment.

It's odd how some gear works out for different users. I still use my Plato as my out and about tank. I stick with a 1.8 BVC coil, tootle at 12W. Hold ~5 ml juice, and has never leaked once in my pocket, briefcase, or anywhere. It's also my travel mod, easy to pocket, good for stealth as there's no visible tank, and with a high PG juice, not much vapor.

The biggest con for me was/is the price. I think they priced it too high. And that weird, model specific subohm coil with the built in chimney that reduced volume to like 2.5 ml. Otherwise, for me, it's been a workhorse.

I think for me I had built it up in my mind and for the price I expected something better made and a bit more solid in the hand. It felt lightweight. It is up against some stiff competition in my vaping collection and it didn't make the grade ;)

Ive looked at the tube a few times and it looked like it maybe a good one. Whats the airflow like?
It has a single and dual airflow option, the dual provides a decent semi restrictive lung hit.

She whistles though, and it's unscrew the top cap to fill. People have re-purposed the base for Orchid's, Aqua, KFV4 etc... So it might make a good frankenatty if you don't like it stock. ;)

I quite like the tube as is except that I could not get any of my Kayfun lite short replacement glass to work w it, so I am forced to use the stock metal tank & can not see my juice level.

I am trying to replace my kabukis w rebuildables, and the old KFLs are too restrictive, the wine is too noisy & just a little too airy for me, and the Pico tank was a little too wet and I didn't like having to refill from the bottom screw.

I have a kfl5 mini clone on order from Fasttech, as I am looking for a restrictive DTL that I can also MTL, w great flavour, top fill, rebuildable, and doesn't leak if built properly.

The tube, so far, has come the closest, in my limited experience.[emoji3] (mine does not whistle but the wine atty does so I don't think it's a matter of how it is coiled or wicked).

    Hope this makes sense.

If you're looking for that, be sure to check out the Merlin as well. Excellent MTL/restrictive DL, top fill, easy deck to build on, and top fill. Oh, and it doesn't leak (as long as you wick properly).
