She is the one who sings out . . . :p
Whoa these last two pages gave me a brain scramble.

I have allot of TC devices. I do not TC very often. Sometimes I get bored and turn it on just cause I am bored.

On a flavor tank with ni200 or SS I set my wattage at 20w, that may seem high for a flavor atty but it is TC so it works without burning. I set my temp at 400 degrees and adjust up or down to get where I like to vape. In the end whether it is TC or PW it is temperature of the vapor that decides whether I turn the power up in wattage mode or I turn the temp up in temperature control mode. Also remember to lock the resistance of the atomizer assuming your device lets you do that which in most cases these days you can.

Psssst, @Katdarling - you should get a Serpent Mini.... I have a DELIGHTFUL 1.5ohm coil running about 12W with the airflow almost completely shut off.... Flavah, flavah, FLAVAH!!!!!

Jus' sayin'
I want one of those pretty bad.

@Uncle -Gonna try that once I understand it a little more and know some of the basics of TC - compared to the notion of just set-it & forget-it as I do with a VV/VW . . . So - Thanks for the suggestion . . .

** yeah, you're probably right, need to dive in and do some real serious study, reading, consult some experts, take a course, practical theory...

 :w00t:
I like your guide that makes sense.

Anyone been looking at these Sbody Macro's? The prices have really come down they were up over 100 bucks for awhile. These are suppose to be awesome little devices. They take a 18650 too and have 2amp Zip charging :thumb:

SBODY Macro - Devices

I have two of them. I use them every weekday (they go to work with me in my bike bag). They are each topped with KFMv3s that fit perfectly. There's a slight overhang with 22mm toppers.

The only quibble I have is that they are too often asking me to "check atomizer" or "same atty + or -". I know, First world problems, right?

They are the smallest 18650 box I've found. I even found silicone sleeves for them.

@Uncle...Thanks for starting the discussion on temp control.I have a few tc capable mods and have been itching to try tc but found it all too confusing for my ole brain.I think I may just dive in.Now I gotta get some stainless steel wire.

Not all mods are capable of TC with SS wire.... You'll have to consult your instructions for your mod.

Will LightningVapes ship to Canuck-land? They're running a sale this weekend ;)

Looks to be about the same size and shape as the Cloupor Mini series, the original at 30 W and the + at higher levels and TC.

Thanks,I have 3 mods that'll do TC and one in the bunch that will handle the stainless steel, the eVic VTwo mini. The reason for me wanting ss is if the tc don't work out for me I can still use it in power mode.

Hmmmmmmm...still haven't worked up the nerve for internet purchases, prolly should though,me thinks the vape shops around here won't have any ss.Thanks for the heads up though!

I recently got the VTwo Mini. I really like it :) I do find that I use SS coils more in power mode as well.

Cheers!

That would limit what you can get. I have bought only from Canada and China. You just need to be cautious.
