Btw, as for Joyetechs new firmware for the Evic VTC Mini & Cuboid, I like having Preheat for TC, but I cant deal with the new screen layout.. Had to downgrade right away.. How about more actual Customization Menus instead of Games? Flappy Bird? Seriously? That room could have been used to configure the Screen, settings, etc the way you want to vape!!

I have a authentic and a SXK and they are identical. The SXK wick holes going from the tank to the deck are just a tad larger on the SXK but they both vape really great and are two of my favorite atty's. I would like to find a mini kit for them not sure if that is a thing yet or not but I am sure they willl pop up somewhere.

Went to unplug the USB cord from one of my Hana One mods and the bottom half of the faceplate started coming off with it... popped it back in but usb port is a bit crooked now... lol

Oh geeze! Not good. Not happy to hear that...... since I've got one coming.

Might be a great TP RTA. I'm just waiting on stock...

Help me with a good build. I do use heavier VG juices, so wicking is "tetchy" for me. I have two of these lil debbils, and I WANT THEM TO VAPE NICELY!!!!!!

What's a decent diameter? I've tried 2.0, 2.5, and I think even 3.0, and I don't like any of them :angry: I have 30g, 28g, and 28g SS316. I've tried adjusting the airflow (I do prefer it looser than most TP'ers) but if I open it up too much, I can't get the bottom plate to reconnect correctly

I want to like these - they are elegant tanks - (they look hawt) - but I'm about ready to throw them

Can anyone offer a sister some advice?

ETA - on my Ssssssserpent Minis, I usually build a 2.5mm coil, but I have a lot more "juiceflow" so I don't burn hits.

I love the mini but you won't get open airflow no matter what you do. It is MUCH airier than the earlier KFs but the best you will get is a restricted lung hit.

I'm using 27g 8 wraps with a 2.5 diameter. Comes out to about 1.1-1.2 ohms. I love it. I have only been able to open mine up to 2 1/2 turns at the most before it starts to disconnect. Make sure NOT to overstuff the wick. Just enough to come close to touching the bottom.

I usually open it until I see the first air bubble coming out of the holes, then I go about 1/4 turn more.

Stupid question - you did unscrew the bottom and adjust the air flow with the little screw inside, right?

Forgive me, my sweet bell ringer, but as you know, I'm a 65 PG girl, so my tendency is to think that this has something to do with your high VG vliquids. Kould I be wrong? Oh ABSTOLUTELY!

I wonder... do you use cottone as your preferred wick? I use both cottone and rayone (I know how they're spelled! I just like adding letters to words sometimess), and my preference is rayon. The first thing I learned about the diffs between them is that cotton absorbs, while rayon transfers. If you're using one or the other, might you try an alternate wick?

I don't believe the coil diameter is really affecting your vape all that much. The HEIGHT of the coil DOES come into play tho. Try adjusting it up or down a bit.

Ding Darlin', I can't help with your particular tank, but I vape MAX VG all the time in Protanks, JustFog, Squape, and Nautilus. With the exception of the Squape, all use standard tiny little prewicked single coils (BHC and BVC) and I have no problems at all getting nice vapes. I am not a cloud person; I vape for taste satisfaction only. Given that these things are factory, everyone tells me I need 50:50 juice, but most of my juices are 80 to 90% VG. The only exception I make is that I put airflow controls under all my tanks and they are usually open all the way. I hope that helps in some way...

Yes ma'am (not a stupid question 'tall....) I've tried opening the airflow so much that it just about won't let me seat the bottom plate. MOAR AIR!!!!!!

Actually, I often forget about the height of the coil. I usually shoot for about 1mm on coil height. Haven't tried "bouncing" it much either way yet..... I have tried rayone as well as cottone. I tend to use cottone more often, but I guess I'll re-tryeth the rayone

Heya Mssr. Fuzzster My mix is effectively MAX VG as well, and all my others (PT2s, Nautis, eGo ONEs, etc.) don't have probslems.... (see @Katdarling - I do it too ) And yup, my tanks pretty much live on open airflow. I'm just so desperately trying to find the "zone" with these V3Minis. The "chubby" V3 seems to work a little better (fewer dry hits and draw doesn't feel as tight....)

I'll try the rayon again. I'm just more practiced with how to wick cotton - rayon needs a mullet (a la @TrollDragon) and it needs stuffed more than I'm used to doing....
