I'm not counting the days or anything
Hi, everybody. This is my first post, but I've haunted ECF for years. This long-running thread has been such an educational resource to me that today, as I ordered some new batteries, I decided to pop in and say thanks.
I started out with eGos, the big fat ones. The batteries didn't last long and they broke real quick, as I am hard on equipment. Soon clearos came out, and they were great, even if they were leaky and gummed up quickly. Over the years I bought a ton of em and always went back to smoking as soon as they broke.
Two things have gotten me off the cigs: WTA and the modern, more powerful, more durable hardware that can deliver big hits that feel almost like those lung-busting puffs of Spirit Blues I used to crave.
I'm not counting the days or anything, but about 8 months ago I did some research and got the Sigelei 150TC and Uwell Crown tank, because the "sub ohm" thing, whatever the hell that means, was all the rage. The enormous hit of 24mg WTA nearly killed me! Upon further research, I discovered that I am, alas, a tootle-puffer, and the beastly Crown is not for me.
I've always been a mouth-to-lung smoker, and never even considered that there might be a different way. I was surprised to discover that a whole world of people take it direct to lung! Who knew!? Y'all did, and I found out here!
So I did my research (here) and wound up settling on the Beyond Vape Silo, which I have been delighted with, and I haven't smoked since. It has a yuuge tank that's covered by a stainless steel sheath which makes it way harder for me to break it. The Aspire coils work great, and it comes with two drip tips: one bored for those trying to see how many cubic yards of vapor they can fit in their lungs and the other sized for tootle puffers like myself.
I started out vaping unflavored WTA at 24mg strength, and I'm now down to 6mg and dropping. I consider that stuff absolutely crucial to my quitting, as nic only liquid never did it for me, not even a little.
Btw, thanks to info I dug up on ECF, I decided on the Samsung INR18650-25R batteries.
Thanks again, tootle puffers, for this incalculably valuable thread.
