A lot of people seem to think mechs are inherently dangerous. We in this thread are all building wel within safe battery stuff.
Totally agree. Not inherently dangerous, but often require a different level of knowledge. Given the sensitive nature of the industry right now, every "accident" is detrimental, and I'm weary of the emails I receive (from non vaping friends & family) every time it happens. It also causes people like Chuck Schumer to go on rampages, and that can't be good.
If someone has the knowledge they need, all power to them. But people are walking out of vape shops with new mechs, and not the knowledge to go along with them, and that's too "iffy" for us all right now.
Just my opinion. Caution is a good thing (for now, at least).
I can't fault that logic. And I don't discredit your opinions at all. I just wanted to provide another pov and take some of the fear away. A lot of people seem to think mechs are inherently dangerous. We in this thread are all building wel within safe battery stuff.
Anyway I really do appreciate your point of view and thank you for sharing and participating in discussion without any reactionary "I'm right LALALALALALA" mentality common in forums. I very much appreciate contrasting views and typically they're how I learn !!

Removing all the burrs and just generally cleaning up my lathe's 4-jaw chuck ready to machine the Coppervape squonkerCurrently re wicking PT coils , what are you guys up to?
Question: do all evod versions use the same coil?
Feel free to just smack me upside my head if I ever do that again, Dinger. And it sure is great to know I can count on you. THANKS!!! [emoji4]DPL, I'm here to play![]()
Lying flat on my back watch Cleopatra on TCM. I somehow wound up with seven mod/atty combos filled and lined up next to the bed. Life is good.
ETA: The Liz Taylor version.
It'll serve you well - that's a good buy.I went head and bought that zmax. Because it was under $10 with shipping!
No. The evod glass was able to take the dual coils (the enclosed or the "open" ones) or the single coils, but the regular original evods could only take the single coils.
It'll serve you well - that's a good buy.
