Many people assume that i think the kayfun in my Avatar is tge best Atty i ever used.

It isnt. However i do think it is the best kayfun ever made even if i only paid $4 for base, 1.69 for bell cap, and $1.76 for the barrel (current prices) when i got this beastie i bought a kit with Monster Mini V3 base for only $5.43.

Tge following attys all beat it for flavor.

Darang RDA
Silverplay Nano RTA
Goblin Mini RTA
Freakshow Mini RDA.

I use this ultra Compact kayfun for FOUR reasons.

1. Small size pocket friendly
2. Very good flavor
3. Plenty of spare parts and can keep the little beastie going almost FOREVER
4. Doesnt pee on me like the Lemo 2, Bellus, Aqua V2, authentic Kayfun Mini V3, Bachelor Nano. Mah be two or three more not remembering currently.

Why would you want to use the same gauge wire???????????????
Absolutely not true, in fact the flavor kings of all RDAs are a single coil atomizers, and it's pretty easy to use that same calculator and figure out which gauges to use so that both of those coils will have the same number of wraps.

Single wrap of wire, not a single coil... well, I guess it would really be a single coil.

Just making a point that there's more to it than air, fuel, and ignition source.

I've never heard of flavor wicks. Lesson for today: In this picture is the mesh pad wrapped around the coil considered a flavor wick?
There is a cap that goes over this thing. This is not my photo. It's from a blog on rebuilding GS Air coils by Cheechako (i think) and Puff you're mentioned there too.

nopie - that cotton mesh around it would be considered a ' restrictor' (cause if you don't put it there it will flood big time... !)

the flavor wick was something on an older Kanger bcc coil that layed across the top of the 'wire' (but under the chimney)

Ecru is a french word that means raw, therefore in textiles refers to unbleached.

What's weird about this cotton yarn is that for it to be that beigy color it had to have been dyed because cotton straight from the plant is white. Hmmm

Yeah, hmmmmm......

I somehow don't think ecru still means that in english, more just a color designation.

yepper, I was going with ECRU meant untouched, natural

reguardless, I'd always boil about 30' of it at a time (mostly just to get store germs off it)

I loved it, worked great and was SO MUCH better than those stock Kanger bcc coils...
