I appreciate that. Sometimes I wonder if I'm being a pest! But this inquiring mind loves vaping and wants to know as much as possible. And you guys are obviously very knowledgeable!

I have a package of Texas Tuff Raw Organic cotton and it is beige in color.

To quote them:
"NEVER CHEMICALLY PROCESSED OR BLEACHED.TEXAS TUFF RAW ORGANIC COTTON IS STERILIZED WITH A PROPRIETARY METHOD USING ONLY HEAT AND PURE CLEAN WATER MAKING IT READY TO USE. THIS 100% U.S.A COTTON PRODUCT IS NOT ANOTHER RE MARKETED OR RE PURPOSED PRODUCT.TEXAS TUFF COTTON IS GROWN, HARVESTED AND PROCESSED WITH PREMIUM QUALITY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE IN MIND."

Compared to Rayon, the stuff is trash. :nah:
Compared to other cotton, I guess it's better... :D
Weird. All the cotton plants I remember growing in Greece was white and the pictures of cotton on Google are white too.

Maybe they come in different colors?

Tell ya what, rebuilding dual coil PT heads is not easy! But I'm gonna sit her until it's right!
I must be a glutton for punishment!

Once the final FDA hammer drops ... you may have a black market business idea.

nopie - that cotton mesh around it would be considered a ' restricter' (cause if you don't put it there it will flood big time)

the flavor wick was something on an older Kanger bcc coil that layed across the top of the 'wire'

Thanks for explaining. I guess I bypassed the older stuff. I started vaping with those Logic cig-a-likes and after a year when straight to provari and GS Air tanks from an istick i also bought.

Ecru is a french word that means raw, therefore in textiles refers to unbleached.

What's weird about this cotton yarn is that for it to be that beigy color it had to have been dyed because cotton straight from the plant is white. Hmmm
As a fiber artist (spinner and weaver), I gotta say unh-uh. Cotton is available in a wide range of natural colors. A pale, creamy color is most common...

It's all brooms, now... The Wife is the current spinner and weaver... you can see most of it on my website. The Wife's blog (which hasn't been updated in a while) is Spinning Dreams and Weaving Yarns
