Question: I know I need to keep my threads and o rings lubricated but what about tanks I'm storing? Do I need to add a little pg or vg to the threads and o rings for maximum longevity?

I don't on mine. Just leave them partially unscrewed.

What does it mean when a tank suddenly starts leaking through the air flow ?

There could be various causes. You say suddenly, but what were the circumstances. Was it truly sudden, as in it's been sitting there unused for hours just fine and suddenly started leaking? I'm guessing not.

Likely causes include anything that might create a poor seal, so damaged o rings, cross threaded, etc. Improper filling? (though if it's a tank you have filled numerous times without issue that probably isn't the cause) Dramatic temp change? Flooding the coil can sometimes cause this too.

You're right, it was after I filled it. Felt "sudden" to me because all I did was fill it and re-wick and it was fine before. It's a STM using the RBA coil, perhaps I didn't use enough wick...but it's leaking an awful lot

He gets more attention than most kitties. And as you can see, comes to get it whenever he wants. He is quite spoiled as he was my original child.

@VapeLuvr another cause of leaking is wicking. Ensure that there is no wick touching the airflow port. Wick that touches internal air ports tend to leak juice right out...

Okay, I'm also going to go ahead and re-wick. Thanks Shawn!

    Nice!
I have to make things match now. This is all getting to complicated. I thought my rotation of next was working fine. Guess I was wrong.
I always plan to make things match. But, when it comes to walking out the door, it rarely ends up that way.

I started this over in the Genisis forum, but if any of the tootle puffers have ideas to help me, I would appreciate it. If @VapeLuvr can jump in the deep end with both feet, I figured it was the kick in the hiney that I needed to try something besides a factory coil. ;)
