The quad tank is what initially attracted me to the x setup but I ended up with just the regular kit. It was one of the best ideas of any premade tank setups I think. I didn't realize you could build a coil for the nautilus x in any configuration though. Is here a little Rba? If so Can that rba be purchased separately ?

You're making me think I need to give itmore of a fair shot. I'll try t again as I would genuinely love to have a disposable coil system at times. If I don't like it I'll post it up for inexpensive sale with the 8-10 coils I have left. But I'll try it again. To be fair. Maybe I didn't give it enough of a chance.

The full
Size triton is probably one of the better MTL vapes. Providing you like right draw. It does fit on the istick pico bt its tight. I'm going to clean the x now and throw a virgin coil on for one more chance. :) I've been hasty before.
Start WAY WAY low on the new 1.8 coil and give it lots of time to break in. I usually let them soak for an hour or more before starting at 5W and taking a few drags. I gradually increase power until I hit my sweet spot around 6W. If I go much more than 6 I'll kill it.

If you want the rebuildable deck for the Nauti X, you want to order the survivor kit. If you get the full kit, it will come with a regular base for factory coils in addition to all of the other configurations. I think 101Vape and maybe some of the others had them on sale, so check for deals if you want to try to get one.

T for Texas!
I definitely did that a few times especially with the black one not being clearly marked. Once you dry hit a triton coil you may as well just throw it away. They're never the same.

Do you use the 1.8 coils in the full size triton / triton 2 ? Why're a good compromise for extra wick but I find the center a hair too narrow for me so the draw is a bit too tight.

Here is the spheroids big brother the heron v2 that's been discussed in here I believe. With Ultem tank. On he old m class in tc mode with stainless steel Clapton wire built to 1 ohm (5-6 wraps 2.25mm)

That black drip tip on the spheroid doesn't look good compared to the stock white one like this. I just changed it to try and forgot to take it off.

The HnP is the equivalent hybrid to the piccoloid. It's wonderful. The hybrids are expensive. I can't lie. But you're buying something that lasts as long as you do. Plus without using a "hot spring" they have s collapsing double pogo connector which greatly increases mech safety as far as I'm concerned.

It's a shame to see GP struggling. They make amazing stuff. They're starting interest lists for spheroids and such if you want one get on the list as likely this is he last of them.

For most of us on this thread that spheroid piccolo hybrid (the piccoloid) is the perfect vape I think. It's tiny vapes wel and the design increases density and throat hit. You'd all be shocked at vapor output of that tiny setup on a tiny battery with thin wire.

We've all gone to 28 or larger wire and forgotten the benefits of 30-32. And they're plentiful. Fortunately they're delicate and rewicking often ruins the coil but once a week rebuild for s perfect vape is hard to decry.
Love my Spheroid 3s (have 4 of them, all bought in the classies). Tried the V4 and didn't like it and traded it for a V3.

Then I got a Heron V2 and actually wicked it with cotton, no fluff and it is killer! That's the mistake I made with the Spheroid V4, I didn't use the wicking cap option, only used fluff. Its too airy that way IMO. If I get another chance at a V4 I'm gonna snag one up.

But my V3s, along with KFLs and Erl nano, are my all time fav go tos.

I cheated and bought the pre-made with silica wicks!

That's not cheating, I do the same thing.

If I can get the wick out without destroying the coil I rewick with cotton. If not the nr-r-nr coils with silica.

Wait, that heffe is supposed to be cloudy? Man, I dumped a whole batch for nothing...

Just kidding, I didn't really dump 5 gallons of beer. I have yet to brew a heffe.

I've only been gone a couple of days and I come back on here to ten more pages of messages, I simply can't keep up :)

Try the DPL and KD method: jump to the end and read back a post or 3! :D

Hellsbells, I've quotes saved here and I'm not even sure if I've already responded to them. Talk about LOST, DAZED, and KatKonfused!

Not on any of the previous topics but I have to say. I luv this thread because of the people. A wealth of knowledge, a caring and supportive attitude and it has never really mattered to me what sort of vaper anyone is. This thread was a blessing in diguise at the time it started. I was feeling an outcast in the vaping community because of the way I vaped and this was a safe place to hang out where I didn't have to explain my tootle puffing ways.

    Anyhoo Thanks. :thumbs::p:wub:

    wub wub WUB!!!!!!

I triple it. Thank you @Katdarling for starting it!

    Me too

    More WUBS! :D

I stay in this thread because I can figure out what you lot are talking about sometimes.

That's what I do and if it turns out to be part of a convo that I need to pursue I do it.

Truly, no one should feel bad if we miss some posts or fail to "like" them. I've heard some frustration in folks having missed several pages by the time they get back on but that's to be expected. Everyone had busy lives.

It's always nice to see you all…whenever you make it in

How is it any different than the kabuki ? The design is so similar I'd have to think he vape is identical.

I saw pbusardo' review on the vika and was tempted but I own two authentic kabuki' which I seldom use anymore so I wasn't sure if it was worth trying.

Can you or anyone else opine on the vape quality differences between the vika and kabuki? Or confirm there's are effectively none

I will . I never got the airflow working to my satisfation on the Kabuki. I have owned both the original and the clone. The vika (clone) worked like a dream for my airflow needs. Taste is petty close, no leaks on either and both sets of glass are fragile.

Oh I have my favorite B&M I'm there every week and they guys there are great. Very helpful and cater to the new vapers. I got my first set up there over 2 years ago. There are like 7 shops in a 20 min range from me and I always send someone who is just getting into vaping to that store. They won't sell mechs to anyone who doesn't know what there doing and they don't try to sell you the most expensive kit they have. Say your a menthol ultra light 100 cig smoker, your probably not gonna walk out of there with a Alien 228w with a Baby Beast on it. Probably a Nautilus or a Joytech AIO of some sorts. It's not as big of a sale but with good customer service there gonna keep coming back for juice and coils and eventually more hardware. A good shop will never forget how confusing it can be when you first start vaping.
Now that's how all of them should be!

I have no idea if we're the minority in rebuilding.
I found ECF after I'd been vaping for a bit.I first read about rebuilding here and after a few fubar kanger coils I thought I'd give rebuilding them a go.After finding my rebuilds better than brand new kanger coils I just kept going with them...then I got my first KFL then I found this thread and now here I am.

I still rebuild Kangers for my sister and just last week showed her the inner workings of one of my KFLs.

I started the vape thing on Aug. 28, 2014 while on vacation in Kentucky for 2 weeks, came back home and immediately searched the internet for Spinner II/EVOD2 information and that's when I found ECF (so September 1, or thereabouts), and found all kinds of info. Then on ECF, found a link to a video where some guy (can't remember who) was showing how to rebuild his EVOD2 and thought, there might come a day when it will be outlawed to own a ecig or any of it's accoutrements since it works for me and prolly others too, plus it looks easy enough and I would be saving $$$$ in the long haul as expenses WILL rise in the future. I figure that I actually started rebuilding that EVOD2 around the end of September 2014, and like you, liked the result better than the Kanger ready made Factory coils as I could adjust the resistance to where I wanted it for that Spinner II to perform the best, Plus, even with the fact that I was using a regular old cotton ball and getting better flavor than with Factory coils I stayed with it (it was just plain fun).

I have my favorite local B&M shop that I've been going to for a few years now, but I like to venture out to others. I bring my Nautilus mini with me because it's funny to see the reaction I get from them. I'm instantly treated like a noob.

Ive had many DL RTAs & RDAs in the past, but I have found that it takes a lot more skill to perfect coils and wicking on a MTL Rta to maximize the flavor with very little juice consumption. If your Vaping at 50w or 55w not much difference between the two. A 5w difference on a MTL tank is huge.

Yeah it is. When I went from 10 watts all the way up to 15 watts I noticed so much difference that I was thinking of going to one of those Cloudz Bro's Competitions. JK, but there was a definite difference.
