throw it in and vape it! worst case scenario you get juice everywhere. :)

I mean no offense by this, but I'm pleasantly surprised that I don't get more answers like that, lol!

For all intents and purposes, is this the same coil? One is slightly shorter. I'm pretty sure it is the same, but want to confirm

nope , they are different sized and seal against the air flow tube as seen... :D

Warning not to use button tops in your Hana modz. I know, I know. I shouldn't have used them but since either worked, I used it. (yes, it was VERY difficult getting the battery in) That's all I had at the time and I just noticed the cracks

I can't agree more. I collected every one of the ming shape including all the special editions and nothing ever came close (until we made our own) the size, shape and polished feel...... just brilliant and they started my love of acrylic tanks and drip tips.

That is VERY impressive!!!

Puf is correct on what he has said about those coils for the PT and Aerotanks. One of those (I can't remember which now) will NOT fit in the EVOD2 and maybe some others, if you try to use them they will flood like crazy.

Edit: they will screw into the EVOD2 and others, but, will be too short and let juice into places it was not meant to be, like the air tube, and the other will be too long and won't want to screw in tightly to the Aerotank Mega's and such. I have the EVOD2, Aerotank V1 and V2, also the Aerotank Mega's. I bought those and started rebuilding them around Aug. 2014 to Jan, Feb, 2015.

Must be me but I have no problems with PT single coils in any tanks.

Evod
RGM2
Aerotanks
Evod 2
Subtank.

Yes I agree, it's when I started to try to put the dual coil ones in different ones that I ran into a problem. If I remember, dual coils won't fit into those you listed, and single coils won't work in the Mega tanks and the like (those were meant for the taller dual coils).

You're really taxing my memory here, I'm tired, now I need a nap. They're so many different variations of those coils that it is hard for me to remember which went with which, Clone coils just added to the confusion also. Single coils, dual coils, short pipe, long pipe, and then there were the clones (which I seemed to have bought also).

the mini protank 3 takes the dual coils but the other protanks take the other coil.

I took petrotechs advice before he gave it and found out the hard way that shorter protank coils don't work in the mini protank 3.

Someone here showed me how to rebuild the shorter single coils and then put the spacer to work in the mini pt 3/aerotank.

I've never had a PT (jumped over that one). I think the reason I didn't get one is because I hadn't found FT at that time. That place will put a person in the poor house. I think I need a "Vape Therapist" or something.

Especially if you buy like 30 pt coils, when what your really needed was the mPT3 coils like I did. It's it good thing I didn't throw them away - now I know how to rebuild them for the tanks I actually have.

These old kanger coils are the cheapest premade that I know of - at least 1/2 the price of nautilus and cubis coils.

I need one too! I've been on this site for 4 months and have 38 tanks. [emoji15]
