I still don't understand why diluted white vinegar soaking isn't popular. Alcohol is more chemically abrasive. I mix about one part to ten parts of clean water. No smell and its clean. An hour bath. Good for the bottles, too.

Would apple cider vinegar work? That's all I have right now and I have some tanks that need cleaning

Get the Neilmed Sinus Rinse. It's an amazing product, and very inexpensive. Be sure to only use purified,DI or previously boiled water.

I used to get 1-3 MAJOR sinus infections per year until I started using it (on a daily basis). In 3 years I've only had one and that was due to my own stupidity. Played in the attic (re-wiring stuff) and didn't wear a dust mask. Promptly started using it 2-4 times per day which greatly reduced the pressure and shortened the recovery time.

The instructions list several ways of cleaning it but I simply rinse with tap water followed by a small amount of hydrogen peroxide.

Just don't use boiling water lol... I used to use this, too. It's an acquired skill... think self-waterboarding... but, effective...

I just use an old toothbrush. Soft brass might be ok, but in either case, gently!, or you'll be rewinding

+1 for the old toothbrush for coil cleaning. They sure come in handy!

I have snorted salt water before when my sinuses were really really bad and it did work well.
Right now some sudafed is doing the trick.

I will say that the spreadaheet inventories how many atties, mods, and accessories (521 tabs and the like... not drip tips, etc) I own, and that the spreadsheet has 630 rows and 10 columns.

Shawn, I'm a bit jelly that you have the collection you do. I have a decent stash, and I probably got more multiples of things that I *thought* would be my mainstays. I've adopted a bit of your philosophy in that I'm not getting as many duplicates any more. I have a fun variety, and have the ability to vape as my mood suits me.

I forget whose signature it is, but it's not so much "buying a 'better' vape, but bettering the equipment you have" - yes, this is a gross misquote, but the philosophy is there. I do have a few "mainline favorites" of which I have multiples (Serpent Mini - this thing is incredibly versatile and incredibly easy for me to work with.) For the most part, a mod is a mod is a mod is a mod. If it can supply power to a coil, I can make it work.

@sorrynomore - hope you get to feeling better! I know this time of year wreaks havoc on my sinuses too....

Well I get sinus crust, I vape Extreme Ice. The Menthol seems to clear me out.

+1 for neti pot with salt and distilled water.

15 years now and not a single sinus infection after having 1-2 every year before neti.

Do it every day and sometimes twice if needed.
