tanks (excluding most too coil RDTAs, and the Engine line) leak. Period. End of discussion. Anyone saying otherwise is lying. tanks leak more when they're left full an unused. The wick reaches a point of maximum saturation, and the liquid has to go somewhere... I typically leave a couple tanks full, but I mop them off daily... vape 'em a bit, too...

Good to know! I won't leave so many full and sitting around unused

I've been enjoying ry4 dessert style vapes recently. Started with a DIY or Die one shot from ecigexpress, Stacio-RY4U. I liked that one so much that I bought all the components to mix it from scratch and also stumbled across a Fuji apple ry4 recipe that's good too, using TFA RY4 double. I have another recipe on the list but Flavorah Cookie Dough has been out of stock.
That's good to know about the DIY kit. The Stacio-ry4u is his take or "clone" of the Charlie Nobles one.. I saw his video on it but never pulled the trigger on getting the kit to make it. My plan is to start mixing ejuice this summer. Think I should give that a try first?

I've forever been charging my stuff overnight while I slept. Phones, PDAs, organizers, flashlights et all - and e-cigs as well as standalone batteries*. Never had a problem - and never worried about them too.

As long as you're using quality stuff, from reputed retailers, these things are pretty safe. $h17 can happen - but that could happen with anything in life. The prettiest of relationships can fail, can't they? So, there's no point being over cautious/sensitive about li'l routines.

*Including charging avionics and other devices in the military.
I'm with you... I have a much better chance of getting hit by a bus, so I at least try to watch out for them. Can't worry about everything.

I've pretty much decided I want a DNA-powered device but it has to be small and of the escribe-compatible variety. After using TC on the Pico, RX75, and Evic Basic with ArcticFox and seeing the variation between them all, I want something a bit better.

It seems the price has a dropped a bit on the Macro DNA-75 ($69 at FT)... I like that one especially for its size and lack of conspicuousness. I'm seriously considering it.

Hold out a little longer. The DNA75 is decent, but not great... even with the bugs worked out, it has some shortcomings. The DNA75C, on the other hand...

I lived in San Francisco for a bit... saw a few people almost get flattened by an electric bus... those things are stealthy.
Would that fall in the "Natural Selection" category? Sorry y'all, the evil side of me won the tug-of-war , besides, it was too easy!

Could you elaborate a bit? I have no desire for a color multi-function display, but I'm not a fan of shortcomings.

Max voltage is 6.2 Volts, power efficiency is 85% (abysmal, in this day and age).

By comparison, the DNA 60 has a max voltage of 9 volts... efficiency hasn't changed, though...

Both REQUIRE Escribe to modify settings. If the settings are not set at the factory (or by the previous user if purchased used), you're stuck.

The DNA75C datasheet is not yet available.

I don't think 85% is terrible for a buck-boost-type circuit, no? 6.2v wouldn't be an issue for my vape range but I could see it being a shortcoming for others. Any known cost difference for the C yet? Is the footprint the same for the C?

ETA: Having to use Escribe for settings changes is a downer. I do make occasional small changes through the device with ArcticFox... it is handy to have that ability.

It's certainly going to cost more out the gate. That's why I suggested waiting a bit. The board is a bit bigger, but the mods should not be much bigger.

Will closing the airflow help or is that just wishful thinking?
