That was a Fantastic video, it should be made into a Public Service AD to be aired on Local and National TV and Cable channels. It would be very effective at combating all the Misinformation out there. Thanks gnees.

Good morning Tp'rs consider all posts liked :p

I just read all the comments about reducing nic and wondered why people felt they should be reducing nic levels. Is it peer pressure or a general feel of I don't need as much.

Way back when we started on 8mg (misunderstood the amount of nic we were smoking) it worked though and we stopped smoking immediately. Over the years I dropped that to about 6 but not for any reason other than it was easier to mix when I changed brands of nic. Hubby dropped when he went sub ohm because he felt he was getting too much nic.

I decided ages ago that I was happy with my nic content and had no intention of getting lower or even off nic but I find a lot of posts where people have plans to be on zero nic. I know that my body is programmed to function with nic and thats ok by me.

I have been using Nic for so long (52 years constantly) that I don't think my body would even let me quit entirely, ya know. Plus, I like to vape. I have one DR. that has told me that he thinks that Nic (the pharmaceutical grade that I told him that I use) is actually Good for some folks when used in small amounts like I use, and another of my Dr's. asked "So when are you getting Off of Nicotine altogether ?". I told her "Never !!", and she got all huffy with me, I told her "It's my life, ya know". It's a shame that the Medical Community can't get their information about Nicotine straight. Some say it's OK, and others act like I'm breaking some Law. No wonder the public at large is split, confused or even hostile towards e-cigs. Some Dr's. are not just Dr's., their politicians too, and that's a Big problem. Like I have said many times, "I vape to not smoke, or use tobacco". I like vaping.

Since nicotine is the only substance proven (so far) to delay/prevent the onset of Alzheimer's/senile dementia...and since I have a family history of Alzheimer's...I have NO interest in ever lowering my nicotine...

..

I did not know that. Really ?? I wonder if that's why one of my Dr's. said that Nicotine (the pharmaceutical Grade stuff) was good for some people. Can you please give me some links (if you have any) as that little tidbit could impact me also. I have never heard that before.

I didn't go through all the links so I'm not sure what's there but it's a place to start. alzheimer's and nicotine - Google Scholar

It will help a bit, but changes in temperature (air pressure ) will mess you up.

Yep, it will, as I close off the air flow in all my RTA's when they have juice in them but are not being used and after a week (usually no sooner though), most times longer, all mine will leak. My Taifun GT V2's will take longer than my Lemo V1's to leak but all will eventually leak. Everything Shawn and you said I have found to be 100% correct. The temp in my Vape Cave is pretty consistent, so, at least in my case, it would have to be the Barometric Pressure that finally causes my RTA's to Pee. Don't forget though, the thinner the juice, the sooner you might see this happening as well.
