I really think I should start to get commission every time my collection is used in defense or as justification.

I'm using the silicone insulator and yes I sliced off the top with an xacto knife. The depth is fine for my style of vaping which is 8 watts 1.6 ohm coils,no bad taste or burning as of yet.(been using my stm like this for at least half a year or more).I don't think I'd wanna try it any higher than ~10 watts though.
As for cleaning it out,I pop a safety pin in and pop it out,no worries and it stays reasonably clean for extended amounts of time.Getting it in is harder than getting it out. :)

You got me beat...I don't think I have any of the clear silicone insulators. I bought my protanks and a few boxes of heads when they were still white rubber and then bought some grey rubber ones, been rebuilding them so I still have the boxed ones still in the boxes and used the ones that came in the kits. I have to look at my PT stash to see if I can find one.
I vape somewhat higher than 8 watts and claptons so to is why I was concerned about burning the insulator. Sticking the insulator under the drip tip did work for a less airy vape with my 1.4ohm clapton take to work build.

I wonder if they sell replacements?

(Hope you're ok, petro!)

we're good. lots of OT this week. 47 hours in three days ain't bad.

tonight was the first night i got to put the kids down for bed. :( but I'm all caught up now and taking next Monday off to make up for it.

plus the wife is gonna get an extra special mother's day present this year.

So about the 2 Hana's I got today...the v4 is amazing and the one mod is garbage...might just take the DNA 40 out and use it in something else

good luck! I ripped apart 3 or 4 of my old mods to try and make my own....didn't turn out so well. lol

Have 2 Hana ones bought in the classies and while they do feel flimsy, for what they are they've turned out to be good mods...just have to be gentle with them.. great for out and about, lightweight and if lost wouldn't be out major coin.

Five years ago today,.that device literally changed my life.

Yep. Tears were shed... (recently).

Yep. I had had my eye on those Provari's for awhile, but, they were just too damm expensive :(. I really wish I had been able to get one for myself before they went out of business. Oh well, that's life I guess.

Yeah the v4 is top notch quality...but the one mod is making me mad..the battery compartment for the single 18650 has a gap up top..a big one...and the dual battery compartment won't stay on...just pops off...vapes good but it has a DNA 40 so that is to be expected

It's not unnecessary, 'flavor' is not correct. It even underlined it in red when I wrote that. Americans just can't spell :p
Nah only joking, I actually couldn't care less how it's spelt :)

Your not far off the truth Skold. With the way they teach school (in America) nowadays, it's a miracle that the kids can even speak, let alone spell.
