I always have 3 tanks on the go and once a week they all get cleaned.Taken apart, wicks pulled, atties tossed in the kitchen sink full of warm water. The parts get swished around, then rinced, placed on a paper towel then dried by hand with another paper towel.Coils all get dry burned and brushed with a toothbrush after the coil cools, then another quick dry burn.Next new wicks are cut and placed everything put back together, juice added and away we go for another week.Takes about an hour and a bit to do.
When the coils get to looking a bit rough(about 1 or 2 months depending on juice used) I spin up new ones and install, this usually adds another 45 minutes to the routine.
