It's a KFL for sure.. One of the greatest atomizers ever created, a truly unique vape and draw... will always be in my rotation!
I really like the ehpro clone with two holes. I did end up either accidentally chucking mine out or giving it away.. and i miss it. I wish the new kayfun were shorter and had the same flavor, the lite was the last good kayfun imo
Hi, I happened upon this thread a couple of days ago. I saw some here were interested in short non-wide bore DT's (as was I). I was having a hard time finding them, but found some on FT. Most of these are delrin (POM) or acrylic (PMMA). Most have color options.
...

BTW, this was my first time buying from FT. They had a shipping upgrade for $0.48 which I used. Does this really get order here any faster than the free shipping option?
Yes, it does.. don't skimp on the under a dollar upgrades... you'll regret it when it takes thirty days to arrive instead of 7-10
@Shawn Hoefer..... Dogs, you say?????

This was what I found on Sunday after being out for about 90 minutes when a thunderstorm blew through.... :sneaky:

If that's not fear then it has to be need for exercise. To see that much destruction usually means the dog is feeling anxious and underutilized.. fwiw.

Our little dog just sits and shivers, and shakes. I dread 4th of July coming up, going to have to get something from the vet to help keep her calm.

Rubbing dryer sheets over them does the same thing (basically). And our dog LOVES that (she HATED the ThunderShirt).
So I had a different experience with the thunder shirt. I haven't used the scent thing (which is i think the comparison you're making to drier sheets) but the actual shirt itself has worked wonders on my dog. You have to put it on like a normal shirt and then tighten the top flap down - if you tighten the whole shirt before that it's going to be very uncomfortable for them to wear. Also you have to break it in with them, directions say to check every so often at first.. my experience says 20 mins the first time, then loosen the top and let them just wear it... then tighten for another 20 mins after a half hour rest. When that top flap isn't tightened down it's just a regular shirt.. i guess the scented addon thing may be like a drier sheet but the actual factual of what these shirts do is to compress the body to allow breathing.. like when we get panicky and have to take deep breaths. When I put that on my little girl during monsoon season she goes from hiding under a bed to just napping and forgetting the world exists. It's been a really helpful device for her.

We've tried virtually everything out there. She's over 80lbs of shivering maniac
Poor baby.

This just in. If anyone IS looking for stuff, they could almost certainly use the business.

That's great to see!

That's correct.. aside from fanning and such i also tuck a little to make sure it doesn't get stuck under the chimney.

2 mm is my go-to...do a 2.5 sometimes

You should try 2.25, it's the perfect coil size I'm convinced. After i got that geekvape kit i haven't really used much else... i also like odd gauge wire so maybe I'm just weird... six wrap 29 gauge around a 2.25 rod spaced is my go to build.

I comb it a little and fan the very bottom out.

Don't forget to tuck

If only I could blend my doggy and my v1 goblin mini (Doglin? Goboggy?). They are very similar:

I'd love the deck, bottom fill, and air control of the doggy with the glass tank of the goblin. I adore the goblin mini for flavor and looks, but it's a problem child: tiny little screw you have to take out to fill with a needlenose bottle (yes, I've lost two of these screws just in the past week -- they are waaaay small) which is super annoying. Also the air flow placement causes condensation under the tank, so you eventually end up with a little puddle on your mod. It's only worth it at all because the flavor is so great, and it looks so cute and minimal. (you'd need to look twice to tell the difference between the wee goblin and the doggy.)

Doggy is great in all ways except PC tank. If I go strictly by lists of tank cracking flavors, I have very few I can use in there, and it's just a pain to have to evaluate before I use any given juice. Also, I feel a little leery of vaping with PC. The original Animodz version used a different material for the tank, which I don't know much about, something called Quadrant? Apparently it can handle the tankcrackers, though not sure if it's any "healthier" than PC.

The sjmy has a better tank iirc. It's not PC/acrylic.. it's the "other one". Slipping my mind.. but i went with that version specifically due to the tank. Which is available separately and should fit both versions....but check the comments on to be sure.

Woo hooo, i caught up in one pass this time!

Also.. dogs? I want to nibble on her nose.

Also I'm doing some photo development as a favor and i ended up liking these two shots. They're from canada, the Rocky Mountain railroad trip my mother just took..kind of like a busy cruise on train and coaches.

Kayfil frustration here. I tried the method you suggested and it still won't work for me, but I think I might have figured out what my problem is.

I got a couple of kayfil type tools from FT.

Noticed today that the main part of the tool stem is clearly wider than the top part of the KFL chimney, which I guess explains why it chews up the ring.

Also, it looks like the tool would have to work by the thinner end part of the tool fitting inside the top end of the chimney, which I think is what you were saying in the last part of your post. Is that the case? On mine the end part of the tool is way too thick to fit inside the chimney.

The tool I got was titled refill tool for 5 Pawns KFL, the word Kayfil doesn't appear. Anyone know if the chimney on the 5 Pawns version is larger than regular KFL chimneys?

The regular Kayfil has been out of stock on FT since I started looking. Can't find it anywhere else.
idk if that makes a difference but the kfl i have is authentic.
i got the same kayfill tool you have ( $2.44 Refilling Tool for Kayfun Lite Five Pawns Atomizer - 316 stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping )
as you can see in the following picture there was a change in the kfl top cap: left=old
kayfun-lite-plus-topcaps.jpg

'creme de vape' still have some available, but i don't know if theirs is different than the one at FT.(but they do mention that theirs fit the new kfl top cap)
Crème de Vape Kayfil Tool

in my case when i place the kfl on the kayfill it only goes till here:
3896301-2.jpg

and the thinner part of the kayfill manage to go through the chimney's upper part:
KayfunLite_Chimney_02_w.jpg

it's not perfect, and i have to carefully balance the tank on the kayfill, but it's enough to keep the liquid from draining.

Very helpful, thank you. BTW, still totally in love with my new daily driver.

I didn't need to hear that :p I use the mini version but even that seems big. I really like cinnamon liquids though so I have to keep some glass tanks up and running.
:) On daily driver!

For $10 try the doggy, the tank is very thick and compared to the goblin mini it is light years away in terms of faff!

@h00ligan - That, sir, was absolutely the result of sheer terror. Dog was home without her "hoomans" and a thunderstorm rolled through (unexpectedly.) The brown door leads to the basement, which normally is cracked open. However, I think she accidentally shut it, trying to nudge it open more. Then, once shut, all chaos broke loose. She NEVER chews on anything in the house that isn't food or treat related. She and her kitteh are in my avi pic. Normally very gentle :)

We used to have a black labrador that was absolutely petrified of thunderstorms and would start acting all panicky a good few hours before they actually arrived. He was also bad with fireworks - at least we knew they were coming but he didn't !

Love all the KFL (+s) and have a few dozen parts purchased from FT to make all kinds of cool configurations:

Yes, I'm planning on getting some different size rods to get between 2 and 2.5. Qorax is always using that darn 2.4mm LOL

Yes - between the dawg and my Better Half (who has MS), I know when storms are rolling in, sometimes before the weathermen

Regarding the door to the "panic room" for the dog, would it be a safety issue for other residents if you could install either a doggy door or something to prevent the basement door from latching? I keep the doors here propped so that they can't accidentally close and trap a kitty away from the litterbox. Doors to dangerous things are always kept closed and the cats are never allowed into those spaces. My basement has a half door that is easy for the younger cats to jump over, but keeps me from accidently falling down the stairs. The older cats seem to get used to noises or find better shelter when they need to hide and can't jump the door.

I have it! I love it, but just not the PC tank. Looking at lists of tank crackers, I have very few juices that don't have flavors that are listed.

I think I'll cut a hole large enough for dawg and kittehs. The landing before the steps isn't very long, and it's tile, so I don't want anyone jumping over. I don't think anyone will be running so fast that they'd slip going through the cutout.... There's a litter box downstairs as well as the ones in the Cats' Room (one kitty got trapped overnight once and had to find a spot to relive herself - not her fault.....)

Appreciate the info and the pics. I might pick up one of those Crème De Vape tools. If that doesn't work I've got by fine without one anyway.

It sounds like your tool only goes in as far as the o-ring, same as mine. But yours fits into the top of the chimney which mine doesn't. Without that, you can balance the tank on the tool and fill it, but you can't get the base and chimney back on without the juice running out.

Seems like there are several different configurations of tanks and tools.

cheers
