alright puffer toots...

I always grill pork chops the way grandma taught me, God bless her. salt and brown sugar brine for a couple hours, pat dry. sear each side for a couple minutes, then cook with indirect heat until done, putting grandma's "secret BBQ sauce" on each side during the "last flip".

how do you guys cook moist pork chops on the grill?

I only use the thin cut 1min/side. Thick cut always dries out - no fat=dry

You see the bell, and cap ? you need this to wrap the fluff around ( the 2 from left )
You wrap the fluff around the chimney.
Without the chimney you have nowhere for the vapour to go

Building is a choice honestly that each must evaluate (not counting if physical limitations won't allow)

As far as effort, to buy pre-made coils I have to work more (cause the cost is higher I have to spend more of my $) so the effort can actually be viewed as less to build.

Building and loading up a Spheroid is actually very simple, its just new looking but has been around for many years now (and has gone out of "fashion").
I actually love the look of it but if I get it would need your guidance probably
& @petrotech I wish I could say but not a huge meat Eater :(

VERY hot skillet. Salt, pepper, ground rosemary rub. Sear, flip, sear, remove to oven. The sear is key, for me...

Gee, I thought chimneys were present in all RTA's and atomizers.

Which leads me back to my original question. What's stopping people from "fluffing" other RTA's/atomizers?

lil buddy - you can fluff a few, like taifun gt and gs, probably some others, but not a kayfun, as an example.
you need an open deck with the chimney over it, on the taifun, you can remove the top of the chamber, and the chimney is still there, conected to the topcap.
If you really want to, I am sure you can use fluff in quite a few, but the Spheroid / heron /aiolos are built specifically for it

This really is all alien to me, when and if I get a Spheroid I am gonna pm you if that's okay but I am leaning more towards a Kayfun mini V3. Been after one for a couple months but might finally be able to afford it soon! There is so many good recommendations on this thread though, it's hard to know where to start...

Skold, pm all you want.
I have a Kayfun 4 and 3 and I like my trusty kayfun lite much more, for me the 3 and 4 are a bit fiddely, and airy.
I like simple attys, no air / liquid controll, and a tight draw.
I have wanted a Spheroid for a long time, and moust of the people who have them, rate them as the best , or close to it

"fluff" is a different from wicking material/cotton...its not made to be used as a wick, rather it's a juice "holder". on atomizers like a Spheroid, it's what the wicks feed from to supply juice to the coil. there's no need for fluff in most tanks.

ETA: we're using fluff as a noun, not a verb. lol

Ooh I don't like fiddly one bit! I like my draw somewhere in between, you probably like a tighter draw than me. When I'm using the Nautilus 2 I have 4 airflow holes open.

Skold, I think you`ll like the v3 then, it is a bit loose for me, go for it, and let me know how you get on with it.
You said it's fiddly though, I need it to be as simple as possible. I've dropped my phone twice just messaging back to you, I shake so bad. Tanks that use nautilus coils are just so convenient! & I even struggle to screw them into the base.
I could do with a pre built system that I can just rewick :)
