I forget...were the low resistance ones 1.6 or 1.8 ohms?

I remember when someone thought I was crazy for vaping a 1.2 ohm coil...

IIRC, anything under 2.0Ω was konsidered lowish. 1.5Ω was DEFINITELY low.

I stocked up on 1.5s in April 2012. At 4.2v on a Provi, that was pulling around 11 watts. Some were appalled.

I've not changed but the world hath turned. [emoji23] [emoji106]

I've seen NIN in concert more than any other band, 5 times I think. Also saw MM somewhere back in I want to say 1998-1999.

I travelled back England to see NIN. I'm probably around 12 shows so far and I got a meet and greet with Trent and he band in England too. I had a signed smash guitar but sold it. I was a massive NiN fan but the latest stuff just isn't doing it for me. Sacrilege I know.

I member thinking: if switching out the 2.2Ω-2.5Ω coils in my Kanger EVOD kit was crazy, dangerous, or just stupid...
but all caution to the wind, I tried a 1.8Ω coil (and lived) (ohh the young mind of a curious new vapor`er...)

Gezzz...there wasn't much variety of gear available or it was super pricey when we started vaping so I can imagine those who started a year or two before us. OMG building a 1.5 clearo coil was livin on the edge or even worse almost making the 1.2 cutoff that most kicks and mods of the day had. The protanks offered some relief but still failed in airflow for a 1.0ohm build. I was sure leary when I got my IPV2 to break that less than 1.0ohm barrier and live to tell about it. It wasn't till the subtank mini I began to lower my ohms and now its just regular habit to build below 1.0ohm. The only reason I can think of to have a 1.4ohm build is so that my batts in my work atty last but I kinda screwed that some by making that 1.4 a 28/34 clapton that requires a bit of ramp up time to get a proper vape.
