Not a pure mech, it has some circuitry that limits the max wattage, and I think reverse polarity protection. It is unregulated though, so the power output is based strictly on the coil just like a mech, at least until it hits the output limit.

Yeah - I haven't been tracking as to whether or not they've worked out their "issues" yet. I had stockpiled quite some time back, so haven't needed to order anything from them. Terrible situation, for sure.

Just popped in a Scottish Roll in a Velocity. EXTREMELY pleased with the results!!!!

The only drawback to this type of wick is that I forget the tank is empty and keep puffing away. Usually 5 - 8 long-is puffs with no juice showing in the tank. Then a semi dry hit.

& I can't believe my pico is still running off a single cell! The battery is still nearly fully charged from yesterday morning. I got 3 new batteries thinking I'd be needing to replace the battery all the time. Impressed
