That's not necessary. So long as you say it works I may wel consider buying another of these.

Thanks for confirming and go clever you!

I had two egrips. I literally threw one away because I couldn't get the rba to stop leaking and I hated the coils. The other stopped firing and just flashed at me. So it too was tossed.

I wonder if I can find an older one cheap on ft or something. They should be pennies if hey still have stock. Time to check!
they are super cheap at elegomall and healthcabin

Does the vt have the removable chimney for cleaning? $28 on fasttech.
I guess. That's what I think the Italian guy had. If you make an acct @ elegomall the red OLED VT is $15 and the blue OLED CL is $12.90. I got the silver OLED CL yesterday from healthcabin for approx. $25

In buying the eGrip, should anyone choose to do so, doible check the info... there are 4 eGrips (?) In the wild, now. The original eGrip (15 watt, I think), the eGrip OLED (can be "upgraded" to 30 watts), the eGrip VT (starts at 30 watts and offers TC), and the eGrip AIO. Of these ONLY to eGrip VT comes stock with the CL base. There are different versions of the eGrip OLED... some with the CS base, some with the CL base. None of the OG eGrips come with the CL base, and the AIO uses Cubis/AIO coils.

There's also the eGrip II Lite, which also uses Cubis/AIO coils. I have 2x originals (V1) which are 20W, an OLED which is also a 20W version (but upgraded to 30W using the 30 click hack) and the eGrip II ... the best of them (IMHO) is the OLED with CL base, and the worse, the eGrip II.

Never tried the eGrip VT

@h00ligan

I first got the idea for the BVC coils from the guys who rebuild the eleaf coils and took it from there.

Then GT found a rebuilding the nautilus coils that showed how to get the casings off without damaging the threads.

I use prewicked coils from fasttech remove the silica wick and rewick with rayon. I had a writeup somewhere with lots of pictures but I can't find where they are. I also have a couple of youtube videos on the nautilus coils

dvarw pico.jpg

Hi all! No way I can catch up with everything but noticed some talk about dvarw. I've been using the clr one for a while now and it works great. (I only use unflavoured/ very low flavour so can't comment on how the flavour is for others). One small point - the threads between tank and base are quite shallow so once unscrewed you need to pull apart rather than keep unscrewing otherwise the cap of the clr stays in the chimney and can be a pain to get out. Otherwise all good - pretty similar vape to pico. Bonus is the dvarw ss section fits all their tanks so a tank cracker option available (and there is a 2ml version too).
This is correct. There was for a very very brief run a 1:1 clone that can eout if the pico and included proper peek Ultem and adapter. Authentic parts fit it too. Some clones came with he adapter some did not. By the s series of clones they stopped all of the adapters iirc
The authentic pico has no -s and is made by yellowkiss fwiw
I have the yellowkiss pico and the pico-s. I got an adapter with the pico-s and bought an original for the yellowkiss. Providing the correct o-rings are used (particularly one below clr adapter) both appear to me to be identical and all parts interchangeable. (I haven't touched either's deck so can't comment on that).
I love the clr's

All this talk of eGrips made me get out my OLED (turns out it's a 30W model), put a new CLR coil in and puffing away ... still as good as I remember it but there are better AIO boxes nowadays (but they are larger).

What do you think is a better aio? Don't say billet box cuz you have to be able to buy something for it to be the best!

For me, the IJoy RDTA mini box is better in most respects (it will obviously leak if turned upside down), but it's really for 17W and above. Mind, I run the eGrip at 16W and it's not immune from leaking so it's not much different.
