I took a quick look after typing in "JAC" and "vape." Came across this:

That Smoant Knight V2 looks really, really good. How is the build quality?
I have the V1, and I quite like it. However, I was about the only one :) The V1 was HEAVY! If the V2 was anything close, it's well made.

Sounds good, thanks, I have now officially added it to my wish list. It bumped off the Teslacig 75W+TC.

I'm still a fan of the oldest & simplest of the bunch, the BVC Bridge. Not too many left of my ilk though, as far as I know.

Form factor and indestructibility used to be the biggest draws, but the form factor now has competition that doesn't require dedicated stuff (Xvo for example), and the dna chip addition removed the indestructible aspect that the Rev3s had.

They're great mods if you can swing it, and nice to pocket. Personal decisions, these.

I'm of your ilk, DPL. I happen to prefer the BVC Billet Bridge, tho the Nauti Bridge is also quite good. A bit more work in the placement and installation, but it's tasty-tasty.

I doubt anyone can tell you with any certainty if it will be "worth it" to you. For me, it was. But that was then and this is now. It's unanswerable, Hools.

PS. I prefer the generation old B Box to the new ones.

What They Said ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

it will last you much longer then the money ever will. . .

Ok so I have. Chanc e to buy a dna 40 billet box for below retail but my thought is the price is so close I may as well try to buy a new one. Just keep having the f5 wars. It’s a tmnt with mother of pearl button for $250. No bridge included.

What bridge are those Of you with billet boxes using? The billet box is hard to get and expensive. But I’d be buying a generation old one for a few bucks below cost. So is it worth it? I can’t see using it with the nautilus bridge because then I just have a Very expensive all in one running nautilus coils. It’s. A lot of money and I’m on the fence so I’d like to know what you all think of the price and bridge options that work well for mtl.

What is a vaping bridge used for? I've heard of bridgeless atomizers, but have no clue what they are, and now I'm hearing about a bridge for a billet box. Please, clue me in!

@RainSong

Have you considered getting him a juul or similar to start? With the tobacco flavor pods? Or an icare go with some 46 mg salt juice?

We're i in your shoes I'd be simplifying down to get him started. I'd use a closed pod system with high mg. Easy fill so all he has to do is recharge it really. And then as he progresses you can build on it. He may never want to be a hobby vaper. He may want to just vape simple like smoking is and then quit everything.

I personally have the cync setup which you can get locally at vapor vortex and it's far cheaper than the juul. It works very well for smoking cessation and two pods are ten bucks at vv. The draw is close to a cigarette as is vapor output. They have some 1.5ml very high my pods and the tobacco from njoy is about as close as it gets to really smoking. As is the menthol.

I hope this helps. I'd just simplify. And make t more fulfilling and more like smoking. With so many addictive chemicals in cigarettes nicotine is a very small part of the addiction but using the 36-46 mg salts certainly satiates that craving and it's no more difficult than lighting a smoke.

The stealth battery is he battery I have. They're cheap. I'd buy two of them since one doesn't last a day. It's tiny and can fit in the zippo pocket in jeans.

Foran open system the icare go is an option but I hi k he cync is a better vape for smokers.

Doesn't vapor vortex have a shop out by you?
He's not all that new to vaping (9-10 months) and has gone through an evolution of devices and nic strengths. Currently using 12mg, some 9mg, in either a kfm v3 or kompact kayfun on either a radius, kbox, pico or mini book. He likes them all, or so he says. I don't think a pod system is going to stop him, he clearly just doesn't want to stop yet. He said he was fine our whole vacay and the first few days back at work, no smokes at all. At some point he must have thought it was a brilliant idea to stop at a store and give someone money for a little box of death. Work is a huge trigger for him. The whole 9-10 months he was duel using I gave him ZERO crap or guilt or anything. My issue was that he thought he should hide it from me. That's not how our marriage works. We don't generally lie to each other. And yes, I was disappointed and blowing off steam and I broke his cigarettes. Sure, I shouldn't have done that but I did and I own it and I'm not sorry. I have loaded him up with higher nic liquids and then he complains that the flavor is not as good. At any rate, I'm over it. He and I are not 100% yet but at least I'm talking to him again.

The billet box bridges are adapters that allow the use of different coils. There are a couple rebuildables, and adapters for Aspire BVC and Nautilus, and Kanger Subtank coils... maybe more...

Mr. Salt E line of e-liquid can be purchased in 46mg strength and is very flavorful and surprisingly pleasant for the high mg. I'm glad you're getting g past it and are back focused on working together. I'm sorry you were disappointed. Stopping smoking is super difficult for many people. Took me a year of vaping while smoking to finally give it up. I wish I'd known then what I know now so I'm sure he's glad for your expertise.

Anyway give that line of e-liquid a try if you want some very high nIcotine with good flavors. I personally like the cannoli one. Good flavor and not harsh but very high nic.

You're right he has to want to stop or he never will. My post was just about making it as easy as smoking and more satisfying. I agree a lot of high mg juice is not good at all. Jvapes for example is terrible at high mg. I use the mr salt e in my small devices like the piccoloid and icare go. I've found it really hits the spot when I get cravings. And I still do get cravings. I vape far less due to the high mg so the higher cost of the liquid is balanced out.

Glad you've worked things out. Let me k ow what you hobo of that juice if you try it or if you need a link for where to buy.
