Loved his songs but not the man. Not very nice.
Didn't know anything about him but I will take your word for it.

Some groups don't know when to call it quits and end up almost "talking" their songs because they can't hit the high notes.
Trust me on this one... game changer. I have over 1000 songs in my main playlist! No cost to try it out, don't hesitate.Hmmmm,I'll have to look into that...Interesting!
If memory serves me correctly (which it usually doesn't), "light my fire" was from the band "doors"?
AH - When "My" memory fails - Thankfully "Google" can be a very close friend . . . AND - While I don't remember too much about about the music from "My" youth I do remember that there was another artist who recorded "Light My Fire" first that was quite popular at the same time . . . Just Sayin' . . .
BTW: All music - Albums/CD's - in computer, "iPod"/"Smart Phone", and "Music Manager" cloud . . .![]()

I csn't wait to see you againIt is so great to meet fellow ECF friends in person! I have met several and it is always such a joy!
(I have hugged Bea!!!! and her DH!!! SQUEEEEE!)
I csn't wait to see you again. We need more hugs!!!
When is the next show? And we ll be in Orlando sometime in the next few weeks. Meet for lunch?
Enjoy your visit with your son and I hope you do well at the two shows. Call/text me when you get back.Unfortunately, I drive to Tallahassee tomorrow to see my son and his wife's new house and meet up with Bob. From there we head to a week in Greenville, SC then a week in Salem, VA. Then home again.
We gotta figure something out! If nothing else, the Ocala show in November. Not sure we are going to bother to vend, it's been rather a waste of time the last few years, but hopefully Geordi's breeder will be showing him. She wants to finish him (earn his Championship) from the Bred by Exihibitor class (breeder shows the dog, not the owner) so I can't show him right now. But I can sure watch, cheer and socialize!
*pout*So far, I've met and become friends with:
FlowerSoul and her husband - We met at a McD's in Orlando. We sat there several hours in a back booth area and ate lunch, talked a bunch about vaping, and I showed her how to DIY a few eliquids she wanted to make. She and her husband are super nice, and both are a real hoot (lots of fun)! We talk regularly on the phone now, and she loves it when I find great deals on things we both want. Supposed to meet up with them sometime soon again.
Wheelin247 - He's just a young whipper-snapper (mid 30's and big into sub-ohming and clouds) who lives about 35 minutes away. Met him last November, to help him learn about DIY. We've been regularly ordering quantities of DIY stuff together, to not only save on S/H, but it gives us a chance to meet again for lunch, or for a shaved ice at a favorite place 1/2 way between us. We talk on the phone about once a week or so. I even discovered early on...that his wife is one of my former students from 1998! He's in a wheelchair because of a motorcyle accident when going 185mph years ago, but that definitely doesn't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest now (goes hunting & fishing, flies a glider, water skis, etc.)!
Von Vape - Met him last summer in Alaska while I was up there with 3 other people. (Unfortunately his wife's boss wouldn't give her an extended lunch time to meet, too.) We'd been emailing and phoning back and forth for several months before we met up in Wasilla. He's a big, teddy-bearish type guy, with a huge smile and a warm personality. He's been very active writing about vaping in their local paper up there and straightening out misinformation others have stated about it.
So, I've come to the conclusion that ECF members aren't just sort of "like a big family" on here, but so far...have been in real life, too.![]()
Yes @RainSong now knows I'm not a psycho. Despite loving the song goodbye horses
Name that movie the song is from. Cmon all!
*pout*
There's no ECFers near me. The closest is about 4 hours north, I think.
