I think the problem is that in the US "savory" is typically used to mean good. We don't really have a good term to use when we talk about foods or flavors that are, more or less, salt based rather than sugar based. So if you look for savory you'll see a bunch of "oh boy this is a delicious sweet dessert" juices.
