These are both stm RBAs. I'm assuming that the one on the left needs less wick because of the smaller hole? Funny they both have the exact same name on them!

Yeah, we are up north so no problems in our area, a little rainy but nothing really, but friends in Houston are getting a big brunt of the storm... Galveston and coastline even worse.

My sister-in-law & all her family live in League City, (south of Huston) and they be singin "5 feet high and rising". (so far, no water in their house)

Thank you @Burnie, that is a new mod to me and added to my list to check out! Love that it is regulated!
Sorry but you won't find it. It was made special for Aquavapor and they are sold out. I got quite a few when they were on clearance (sale price plus 70% off that) for around $6 each. There are not a lot of choices for 14500 mods out there.

This is what I am still using from 2014
    Hybris VV Mod Owners Group
Links to a post with a picture.
    @Burnie , I don't see the OD mentioned anywhere.. 16mm or larger.
And it is an external 14500 mod? Not an internal fixed battery.

Looks like an ego and might need a beauty ring for 510 atties... is that right?

Thanks for any and all info!

I've actually found a few online, not for $6 but for $19... I'll PM you with link and make sure I'm barking up the right tree.

One on left is a clone STM rba, on right authentic STM v2 rba.

STM v1 rba had 2 tiny little liquid inlets (slits) at the very bottom / where the barrel meets the deck base, no round holes in barrel.

For some reason I'm unable to post pictures to show V1 rba.

Lefty nailed it, V1 on the left. SAME amount of wick for both. The V1 may have problems with high VG mixes. It is possible to drill the holes bigger, but carefully, the material is thin and would be easy to deform. Then again, FT has the V2 authentic, cheap :)

Think I still have one of those stuck in a drawer somewhere also.

It was my early "education" of amp limits. I kept pressing that button higher, but nothing was changing. I thought, "Those people are crazy! This VV thing isn't any better than my GoGo."

Sir Gormly, Lord of DV, did educate me. He explained that it was "self regulating" to its amp limit. He recommended that I try a Provari (even though he didn't sell them).

I do miss those GoGos though. If they had only fixed them at 3.7 (or whatever), I might still be using them today. :thumb:

Oh yes, the GoGos.........still have mine......absolutely loved them....by today's standards though they would be too thick for a stick mod, and actually not sure if I could re-used to them again

They were sold out, guess they found some more. Use coupon code savemore for 70% off all clearance items, which will bring the price down to $5.99 each + shipping. Guess I need to order a few more for the drawer, not that I need any, my first one is still working, just the threads aren't the greatest so I use an adapter on it. FYI, pitch the battery that comes with it and get a good IMR instead.

I've also got one of these laying around ............ somewhere

I have 3 or 4 of those also, but you have to be just right putting the topper on or it blocks the airflow.

I'd love a fixed 4.2 or 3.7 tube mod with external batteries. any size really....just as long as it's 22mm or less. lol
