I have a question. I am new to vaping. I am concerned about the Aspire Breeze that I bought 20 days ago ( I have been cigarette free...mostly for 20 days now, perhaps 1-2 cigarettes per day now) and I read about Formaldehyde being produced at high temps when vaping. I have searched the internet with no luck on this, does anyone know what temperature the Aspire Breeze atomizes at? I read that anything under 440f is safe but anything over 480f is not safe. Also, I use the Aspire Breeze, would that make me a tootle puffer? 
Um, it's easy to really freak out about the temperature stuff. I'm not sure what temp the aspire breeze vapes at, but it's got relatively weak power and a relatively high resistance. I'm not sure what percentage the pods are at or if you refill yourself? If you can fill with your own juice one way to be safe(er) would be to use an e-liquid with a fair amount of PG in it, like 50/50 ish.
Also, vaping is safer than smoking, even at very very very high temps, so there are going to be lots of things you can do to improve the SAFETY of your vape (like eventually, down the road, using Temperature Control coils (either in another setup with premade coils, or by using an RTA/RDA where you do your own coiling and wicking, but that day does not have to be Today.
I know the temperature control stuff really freaked me out to begin with and I freaked out and probably approached trying to build my own coils sooner than I should have, leading to my purchasing some gear that wasn't suitable for me and other problems. I STILL don't use TC all the time, and I'm unlikely to do so.
Here are things you can do now to keep your temps lower: try not to chain-vape let your coil and liquid cool down before vaping. If you have a wattage adjustment, keep your vape on the cool side (not sure if the Breeze does) and use a VG/PG mix (PG can handle higher temps than VG) unless you are allergic to PG entirely.
Things you can do now: remember that vaping is safer than smoking, even at higher temperatures. Slowly, and without panicking, start learning more about vaping so that at some point in the future you can use a Temp Controlled mod and tank (if you so desire).
Don't freak out and return to smoking, for vaping to be as bad as smoking for you, you'd pretty much have to inhale dry hits (a burnt coil) 100% of the time.
I wish someone had said to me what I'm going to say now: #1-- Focus on finding a stable vape that you enjoy, quit the cigarettes, and go from there. You have the rest of your life to make vaping safe(er) and it's already much safe(er) than cigarettes, even with the occasional high temperature.

Hello DD & Welcome...Yep...That looks like a Tootle Puffer to me...A Great Many of us were dual users...I smoked & vaped for about 2 1/2 years...Finally found a set-up I really enjoy got down to 1 or 2 smokes a day like you and then just up and quit !!!...You'll Be There As Well When The Time Is Right For You !!!...TrigI have a question. I've missed you guys too! I've been going through ECF withdrawal!
Life is back to normal for me. My husband's work is still closed (for the third week) as his building received some damages, mostly from smoke. But at least it's all paid time off and he doesn't have to use vacation time!
It's sort of Friday for me. I work job 1 on S, M,T and Job 2 on W, T. So I guess that actually makes this another Monday. Damn.

I wanted to get your guys opinion on something . I bought this RTA from FT. Unfortunately, the three post deck is defective, but the double works (I received a partial refund).
I haven't used it yet as I am concerned that it may be unsafe as it was discontinued shortly after I received it. Would you use it ? Am I just being paranoid?

Thank you so much! I love this community, everyone is so friendly...so far. Any idea about the temperature question? I just read the study on here about formaldehyde being present in temperatures of 480f and above. Apparently, though, 440f or less is super safe. Any idea?
I would probably use it, unless you can find some reason other than lack of popularity that it was discontinued, though the 3 post deck being broken is a bit discouraging.... Maybe you do want to send it back. Hmm. Hopefully someone will be along who has used it, but if you can get a refund, I might (simply due to one deck being not operational).
Any reviews on it that were stellar? That might convince me...

First of all, good for you! Cigarettes are orders of magnitude worse than ANY palatable vape setup, so job #1 is leaving the smokes behind. This would be great time to start tracking your vape expenses, putting them against your former cigarette expense. At least for me it was a great motivator.I have a question. I am new to vaping. Most any vape is going to do less damage than smoking. That said, I like to start at 420F (that's the point where cotton will start to singe), and adjust up or down from there. A lot depends on my mood, my atomizer, and the mod.

Wish I could offer an opinion...I pretty much feel the same way Anna does...I use a VV / VW device and normally I vape at about 11.5watts(4.2V+-)...What that equals in Temperature I just don't know the answer...Trig
No one will know that specific information. If you have access to a scientist with a temperature probe and a way to calculate it, then maybe you can find out. Also, temperature fluctuates with the user and the device (not to mention things like how full your carto is, what kind of liquid, how long your draw is, etc.) The only way to be accurate is with a very accurate temp control device.
You are asking this all over the place, it has been addressed. No one can tell you the internal temp of your Aspire Breeze. It's not temp controlled, the temperature is going to fluctuate.
