The Creek fire, it jumped the 210 freeway yesterday afternoon and got into the hills a few blocks from my house. It spread from there and the strong winds didn't help matters much.OMG, BB. I'm so sorry. That's terrifying, to say the least. Which one is that?

On the Thomas - I've a friend, a dear friend, who owns an historic home in Ventura. It suffered two fires already (in the last couple of years). When I heard about this one.... I sank to reallllllllllly low lows. So far, his home is safe.

@Katdarling , stay safe, relax and have a vape. Don't know which fire you're close to but it doesn't really matter, they're all bad.
Still waiting to see. The few of my neighbors that evacuated yesterday came back this morning. We're just outside the mandatory evacuation line for now. All the animals have been moved to shelters, cars are packed, sleep with your clothes on and one eye open.

I got my freebie AIO from MBV yesterday. I didn't realize they took the BF coils. Last year I was sent a box in error. I just threw them in a drawer since I couldn't use them and couldn't bear to throw them away. Now they'll get used, especially if I can figure out a way to further restrict the airflow.

Wishing continued safety to all in the fires.
Found out last night (at 6 p.m.) that at the last second, the one eyed cop could not attend the trial, and in AZ you have the right to "face your accuser" so it's being continued, maybe. The good part is that you also have a right to a speedy trial,, and that right runs out January 7th, and it's fairly unlikely that it can be rescheduled in that time period (holidays and end of the year are real backlogs in this county, so he may have his case dismissed!!!!
There's a case conference on Friday, I am SO HOPING they don't squeeze him in on January 6th or something, that would truly suck.
There's also the possibility that this will be the first test case for upholding/throwing out a new ruling about not being allowed to test for metabolites in one's blood with a medical card... So they may just be ramping up to try and win this case. Oy.
I so hope it's the incompetence scenario and not the "build our case" one, that would SUCK. So thanks to those who sent out happy thoughts and prayers, please continue to do so.

haha, I’m sorely tempted to keep it for myself to have a tiny stealth tube. Still on the fence to keep it or give it away.
Mother nature has been overly excited this year, for sure. If it's not hurricanes and floods, its fires. Sigh. I hope everyone continues to stay safe and that no one loses too much in these fires, they are overwhelmingly huge.
