Good morning all tootlepuffers. I'm getting a coffee cup with a lid. Second time I spilled near my mods (well, granted, I've been at this now a while.. I hate coffee cups with lids, but I also hate ruining electronics, so that is #1 on my next buy list. Fortunately all was well, I guess I can be shockingly fast when needed, with hot liquid, even in-coffee'd up.

My worst spill ever was a cup of coffee into a hiking boot. One that had been thoroughly laced up and *IT* had a lid. I did not sue my "student coffee area," either, I needed to have coffee freely available, LOL.

The coffee had a lid, but it sort of neatly "opened wide" to allow tons of boiling coffee into my hiking boot. It's really hard to unlace when you are jumping up and down, going "Agh, argh, argh" etc.

Unlike the McD. lady, I could own my mistake. Which was neatly "tipping" coffee untreated with any milk or sugar RIGHT into my boot. LOL.

Sometimes I forget to designate what I am talking about, but in this instance, the coffee was lidded. And hot, I wound up with a fair number of blisters... I wish I could remember why I was wearing hiking boots at night but I can't remember.

That is OK. Some of us who love to write get quick and sloppy and refuse to proofread in the casual environment of the internet. It is time to let down the barriers and let loose with casual banter and sloppiness. There are times I look back and say;

I wrote that??!

I belong to another site where once we post, we cannot edit.

Actually Anna...I understood your post but I was trying to make a joke...

And...like most of my jokes...it...evidently...ended up being a flop...

[When I ask my GF why she didn't laugh at one of my jokes...she always says..."It was because I was afraid I'd miss the next one"... ]

Back when I was a wild bird rehabber I smoked. My job would have been easier if I vaped. Anyway, here something I wrote years ago about what to do if one finds a wild baby bird.

"It's that time of year when I get calls from people who know I was a wild bird rehabilitator for many years and they want to know what to do about a baby bird they found. Please share this information. Here's the scoop:

Wild bird parents do a much better job at successfully rearing their young than humans. If the baby bird is naked or has pin feathers and cannot stand or move around freely, it should be returned to its nest. IT'S NOT TRUE THAT IF A HUMAN TOUCHES IT, ITS MOTHER WILL DESERT IT. Usually nestlings land on the ground right under their nests. If the bird is lying under a tree or shrub try to locate its nest, probably straight above in the tree or shrub. If the nest has fallen on the ground, secure it in the tree or shrub. If it is destroyed, make a new one out of a margarine tub lined with grass by poking a couple of holes on the bottom for rain drainage, tying three or four strings around the rim and securing it close to the original nest site.
Watch the nest closely for at least one half hour to see if the parents return. If the baby bird is well-feathered and hopping around, leave it alone; it is a fledgling. At that age, the young bird is supposed to hop around in the bushes or under them and exercise its wings. A parent is probably close by. If the youngster is in the street, herd it back to the nearest bush.

If for some reason the bird cannot be reunited with its parent(s) or is injured or bleeding call a wildlife rehabilitator. Please don't try to raise it yourself. Wild birds should not be raised alone and they require specific diets to insure good feather and bone development. Depending on their age they may need to be fed as often as every half hour from 7am to 9pm.

If you have any questions feel free to PM me."

Bea...I thought you were going to continue on to say...

"When I was a smoking wild bird rehabber (me, not the bird)...my baby birds did much better growing up than the baby birds rehabbed by NON-smokers"...:headbang:

In another thread someone posted a Mt Baker Vapor link and added: "ECF" = 10% off code...which I had NOT known...

Then...I posted a reply which would possibly be more apropos in this thread:

"After vaping "inexpensive" e-juices that are all 30PG/70VG (or Max VG)...I found myself getting overwhelmed by the "VG film" on my windows and TV screens...

So I went to MBV to get some of their 70PG/30VG e-juice...(which most sites do not carry)...

Although I can notice a slight increase in flavor with their 70PG/30VG e-juice (as expected)...as an 8-10 Watt MTL vaper...unless I look at my "little list" I cannot tell from the amount of vapor I get whether my tank is filled with 70PG/30VG or 30PG/70VG...

[And...after about 6 months...my windows are noticeably cleaner... ]"

Hubs started laughing. I asked him what was so funny. He said 'look at you…one is not enough?'

Too much is never enough. I have one in my left jacket pocket. I have one in my right jacket pocket. I have 205 more on the Shelf in the house. I never leave home without at least two.

Hey you two. Good to see you again ❤. Petro how are those darling kids of yours?

Chels how's the job?

I never leave the house without at least 2 either. Ya never know what might happen!
I too always carry two. Just in case. That's in addition to the emergency kit in my bag (juice, coil, bat, charger) :)
