Well Unc...you may be underestimating the advantages of size, weight and stealth...(for Out & About)...

 Oh NO . . . Don't get "Me" wrong, there is always something to be said about a "Smaller" and simple mod, especially for going out and about or when stealth vaping (I have a couple myself . . . ) . . . All I meant was, that I would prefer if some of the manufactures would "STOP" only making "Pod systems" when it comes to making something new for MTL . . .

My wife, who is low wattage MTL, loves her Minifit. She slips it in her bra when at work or bicycling. Hard for her to do that with her ProVari!

:danger:

I kind of feel, as a woman, that I should do it the guy's way?

My next door neighbor, a smoker, is ready to quit with vaping. I've shown her all my gear, tanks, juice, refilling, etc, etc and I could see her eyes glaze over. I'm now thinking that the switch might be more successful if she starts with a refillable pod device because it is mych simpler. What do you all think? And which refillable pod device would you recommend?

I started with cigalikes, then quickly moved to pen batteries with Smok Trophy Tanks...

Those sorts of kits are still out there. I like the TopEVOD by Kanger. In addition to being pretty simple to use, these have variable voltage, just like a real mod--most pod systems are fixed voltage. That's big. Not everybody likes the same vape, and most pods don't give you much in the way of adjustments. They remind me a lot of cigalikes, actually.

Innokin EQs or their latest pod the BIIP. The EQs has awesome flavour, and so does the Biip. However the Biip takes zenith z-coils, so you can just switch coils, instead of switching pods. It also has a 1500mah battery :thumb:

I use the EQs for out and about, and there's been some really positive reviews out on the Innokin Biip pod:

What did you start with, and why? Just for discussion's sake.

    Innokin t18 pen mod kit

Why? I got given it at Christmas, took it on holiday to 'try' and never did. Once at home, I broke my ankle unpacking the car (I have awesome skills )

Long story short, well shortish - got told in ER I could no longer smoke  due to needing major surgery and because it inhibits new bone growth.

Still had the t18 in my packed bag in hospital - so on top of prescriped nic patches, I finally got to 'try it' ;)

My cunning plan was to vape for a month or so, then go back to smoking  But thanks to that itty bitty ;) t18 - I discovered I preferred vaping and have been smoke-free for 16 months :D

I think I'm a Tootle Puffer, I didn't realise until I read back some 200 years of posts in these threads ...

I'm old, I prefer below 25W, and it must be coooool. And I'm still crazy after all these years :w00t:

    Do I qualify?
    ;)

..... you most definitely do :D

I went backwards from vaping 80+ watt RTAs/RDAs to really enjoying MTL RTAs/RDAs. I still vape some cloud producing atomizers, but am really enjoying my new MTL gear. I am getting old I guess.
Nah, you're just comin' home. Nothing wrong with venturing out for a little strange now and then, but MTL will always be there for ya.

650 mAh Ego, fixed voltage, topped with a CE4/5.

At that time, there were two shops within a reasonable distance, and talks with the folk there led me to that. Thought it might be a cheaper way to get my nic (Which, after pro-rating out the hardware, it is, not even counting the cost of radiation and / or chemo!)

A while later, the VV's came out, and moved to Spinners and such for a better tuned vape. Went to replaceable battery mods and rebuildables around my first vapeversary.

Don't know and can't recommend any yet - just got a couple of pod devices/systems and NEED to test them out . . . :(

Well - Long Story Short, especially with all the variations of what happened . . . Although I started over 8 years ago with "Cig-a-likes" (3.7 Volt batteries w/808 cartomizers); then 1100 mAh batteries w/ a variety of different style tanks, and then moved onto different types of MODs, including the appropriate tanks (both w/cartomizers/coils) after awhile . . . Today, I am actually still using the Innokin T18 & T22 w/the Prism Tanks that I got a couple of years ago. Matter of fact, a few months ago - I am no longer a dual user, been using just the T18 & T22 equally in rotation all day. Just Sayin' . . . ;)
