Glad you're back buddy, you have been missed.

I feel you on the b-day stuff, hitting the big 4-5 in 4 days and meh...not much to celebrate to be honest but I'm always smiling when my pops is around, can't make him think I'm depressed or anything, just wouldn't be good for his already precarious health.

Well anyway, happy to hear from you,i was wondering why i haven't seen you around that much, anything you need just holler,we here for you.

cheers
I hit a big 'something-5' a couple of weeks ago - wish it could have been 4-5 but it was a bit more than that !
Anyway, have a good one and nice to see you back @Uncle :)

Don't know if anyone actually noticed my absence/limited access of ECF for the past couple of weeks - been going through a lot of personal "Stuff" like most everyone else (Birthday/Death/sadness/depressed), including having my access to the internet extremely limited given "My" Laptop's Hard Drive stopped working . . . However for the past 2 weeks and with much GRATITUDE and Overwhelming - THANKS - to an ECF Friend of "Ours" and an absolute "Miracle" worker and "MENCH" . . . "My" Laptop computer is back up and running - since they were able to "FIX" the hard drive . . . AND - Not least of all - saved "Me", especially since I was a "fool" that didn't "Back-up" their files often enough (last time was 3 years ago) . . . Not one of my 16 years of files vanished / were lost to "Me' any longer either . . . :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

Now - I do not have to just rely on an outdated, limited and not up-gradable 10 Year old XOOM Tablet to peck and paw my way through ECF. . . . As some people might already know from previous post during huricains, I really dislike and have difficulty "Typing" on a Tablet that is so outdated that it refuses to open a number of website - NOT NICE :-x . . . AND - A using a smart phone for internet access is worse . . . :censored:

Anyway - While I would like to make a few replies and I know I've missed many personal memorial moments, too many to post a proper Birthday, Anniversary, Vapeaversary, etc. Greeting marking "Your" Day . . . So I hope Ya' will just all accept a simple, but just as important and heartfelt:

.

Nice to see you, Unc, and am glad you got it fixed!

Now start backing up, please, and get a remove-able drive so you can keep an offline copy (for ultimate safe-keeping). I backup to the offline once per week, and backup to another on the network almost daily.

We never know when disaster may strike.

Again though, and most importantly, WELCOME BACK!!!

Thanks - Everyone, I appreciate all "Welcome Back" greetings . . .

Thanks - Fully understand keeping a "Stiff-upper-lip" around your "Pops", especially to make sure he keeps his spirit positive going through all his health problems . . . SO BEEN THERE DONE THAT . . . As for "My" Birthday - None of them are really celebrated nor are milestones anymore - other then I made it another year since my Quintruple Bypass 4 years ago . . . This year though - while my birthday was in the beginning of last month, 2 days later - A very good friend I've know for over 45 years lost his 5th battle with cancer - NOT NICE :-x Besides having a few other not so pleasant things happened too . . . BTW: I do appreciate your support . . .

So am I . . .

As for backing-up - Thanks for the suggestion - I never ever knew about having "Back-ups" or having a removable hard drive . . . :pervy:
(sarcastic humor)

BUT - YEA . . . Seriously, I have a few back-ups on external hard drives and even a couple of thumb drives - I was just very stupid for the past 3 - 4 years and forgot to do anything but clean-up cache/cookies, virus/malware checks once a month . . . The really good thing is "Our" friend who helped me out - made a full copy of "Everything" and I do mean ""EVERYTHING" on a brand new 2TB Hard drive . . . And when I got my laptop back up and running a made another copy of important files on another external hard drive I have . . . So if anything I am now covered . . . Just got to put a monthly reminder "alarm" on the calendar . . .

Again though, and most importantly, WELCOME BACK!!!

:D THANKS . . .

Now one other thing - Really GLAD to see "You" posting too . . .

Hidy ho tootlepuffing maniacs. I hope you are all well and doing great, truly. I'm still tootlepuffing like always, but not on my coppervape hussar project Xs. I broke both of my tanks while cleaning them, so now I've got to wait aeons for my 7 replacement tanks (2 for the 2 project Xs that I have, and 5 backups) to arrive from "fast"tech. Luckily I am well stocked with quite a few other RTAs! Bigbob came out with a review on the geekvape max, which is very intriguing. A 21700 battery would last ages, much like my squid double barrel.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

I have automated backups set daily for 3 machines. Also offline and offsite backups (brothers house, different city). Worked in IT/disaster recovery large corporations. I saw and experienced the worst of the worst-est. :D

I am always telling folks to do backups. Ya just never know. If done daily the most you can lose is but a days worth of data. Plus storage is way cheap these days.

Everyone ... please do backups. It's easy. :2c: :)

@Redbird11 - I just tried the Rose MTL RTA on my Kroma-R in Bronze (contest prize that came today by DHL), and it looks great, too. Since you've already got the Rose...you might just "need" a Kroma-R in your stash. The Gunmetal Zlide also looks awesome on it...so maybe another stash item, too! :D
