Warning ⚠ TMI follows...

Here's what happened...

I've been suffering from GERD for years. Hiatal hernia, acid reflux, the works. Spenr most of the last half of 2017 and 2018 in and out of the clinic getting scoped and undergoing ablation treatments to eliminate some barrets esophagus and removing pre-cancerous patches. In all that time, I've been sleeping in a recliner... Really missing my bed (and The Wife).

Once that was all healed up, they performed a nissen fundoplication to repair the hernia on December 3. All went well, and I was out of the hospital by December 5 on a full liquid diet (which, oddly enough, includes a lot of non-liquid items). My follow-up was December 20. At the follow-up, I was freed up to return, slowly, to a normal diet.

Apparently, my definition of slow, the doctor's definition of slow, and my bodies definition of slow all differed. After a couple days of being slow, I tried a big Italian dinner... Spaghetti with meat balls and sauce, manicotti, ravioli, sausage... Right before going to see Aquaman. About 30 minuted into the movie, I was hit with a wrenching gut pain that made me leave the movie and go to the ER.

There, they CT scanned my gut and determined that I had an illeus (sp?)... A small section of dead intestine. They loaded me on an ambulance and shuttled me back to the hospital that had performed the surgery. Not before they gave me a big ol' dose of dilaudid... Whooooooo...

I spent the evening of the 22nd, all of the 23rd and 24th under observation and back on a limited liquid diet. During the observation, they determined that it wasn't an illeus, but a severe pocket of trapped gas. The surgery has really limited my ability to belch, so all gas has to work its way all the way through... Ugh! I was released around 6 pm on Christmas Eve.

I'm back home and eating soft foods in limited quantities and progressing.

I've also learned to hate a comedian I used to love... ... Jump to around 2:55... Sigh... Or watchbthe whole thing.

Meanwhile, I'm impatiently waiting on the Advken CP-TF... It's stuck in China...

Whats an RTA that looks good on a red and black aegis legend? The red Zeus Dual looks like a different red in the pictures.
Because the red used in the metal is so different from one to the other, I'd honestly go with a black RTA - any of 'em - and accessorize with a matchy red drip tip.
