I've had the Tornado now for a couple of months and have had no battery issues until recently. Just examining the battery all appears normal. The button lights up when pressed just as it should. Output voltage seems fine, 3.6 - 3.8 volts according to my meter. The problem appears as soon as I screw on an atty. When I press the button the light comes on but it's really dim and vapor production is really low. When I release the button it goes bright for about a half second. I've tried the same atty on my other battery and all works fine. It seems like the voltage is being cut way back with an atty attached.

Any ideas?

Batteries aren't meant to last forever so a couple of months seems about right....remember they are disposable items....

Ive owned them for a couple of months but I really didn't use them that much. Once I got over the new "wow its cool looking" factor I realized that they just didn't seem to have the extra little kick that my SD MKII has so I stopped using them except for when I wanted to be discreet. These new LR attys change everything. I'm now happily using the Tornado again. The battery should have plenty of life left.
