A quick note about me-
A while back, I switched from smoking to vaping, and then I quit both. Then, I started working nights again, which meant more stress and hanging out with a lot more smokers. The inevitable happened and I started my analog habit again. I've thought a few times about switching to vaping again, but honestly I didn't look to fondly back at it. It seemed my choices were removing the tip and dripping every few minutes, or dealing with that horrible cart taste. I really didn't want to deal with the looks from people as I pulled out a dropper and puffed on what to most people looks like a one-hitter. One of my work buddies asked me a few times about vaping as a means to quit and I encouraged him to look into it and I might consider doing it and quitting analogs again, but I really wasn't excited... until he told me to look up the Tornado Tank. I felt the same tinge of excitement I had the first time I heard about E-Cigs, I honestly got a little giddy. So, after watching review after review (annoying the hell out of my girlfriend) we decided to take the plunge.
I've been anxiously awaiting my delivery for a week now and it finally got here today! and my initial impression lives up to the hype I had created in my mind. This feels like a whole new level of vaping to me. I know I haven't been around in years and have missed out on tons of mods that probably would make me just as happy, but the Tank system is exactly what it took for me to feel it was time to drop analogs again.
I'm using an eGo USB passthrough/battery and Totally Wicked's Tornado-T atty and all I can say is "Wow!" I was expecting little to no TH from what I have been reading (and maybe this is because I am a light to moderate smoker) but this thing hits HARD to me. I feel like I just took a long deep drag on my turkish royals after a puff or two which is the exact feeling that helped me quit last time around.
Vapor production- again "Wow!" my last e-cig was a M401 and a Mini Fogger (306, i think?) before that and this thing blows them both out of the water!
Flavor- I'm vaping TW's Winston flavor which I haven't tasted previously but it seems like I am getting a lot of flavor, no burning or cart taste that really turned me off in the past.
And most importanly: Ease of use- last one, i swear "Wow!" literally seconds out of the box I was plugged in, topped off and vaping! It may sound silly but after using this thing for a few hours, it really makes dripping and topping off carts seem like a chore, I havent had to top it off once and I've been going heavy now for a few hours and every puff taste like a fresh drip.
Overall impression after the first night- Wow! This is what I will be recommending as a replacement for analogs. It's easy, it isn't messy, it's delicious, and overall... it works.
I know there are a lot of threads and reviews on this system, but I wanted to throw my 2 cents out there as one of the people that used vaping to quit in the past and needed something more out of it this time around.
