TPA Carmel Candy?

Greetings!

Has anyone had any luck making juice out of TPA Carmel Candy?

I tried last night and could not pull off a good bottle. It smells great in the vial but has minimal flavor in my PV. I started with 1 drop per 1.5ml batch, then 3, then 5, and at one point my 1.5ML mix was up to 10:10:10 plus a drop of sweetener. It STILL came out weak tasting even with a 33% flavoring.

Since I have had good success with TPA flavors (apple, peach, mj, Abs Tob in alc) I am quick to point back at myself. This verified when I dropped a drop of flavoring in some h20 and tasted it. It was right on. I am running into the same problem with the cheesecake, and at that point I am going with operator error.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I mixed it at 20% with VG and it has plenty of flavor (but I haven't written it up yet in my reviews). I didn't taste it right away, though. This might be one of those flavors that has to "stew" overnight.

Edit: More is not always better. Sometimes adding more flavor (like when you had it at 33%) can actually make it lose flavor. No idea why this happens, but it does...

Yeah, like Little, I've used it at 20% with great results.

I mixed some up and it seemed to get darker and stronger as the days went by mixed it with some tobacco juice I made not half bad

I mixed up a pretty damn good candy apple recipe with it. I've noticed it doesn't seem as sweet as the basic caramel though. I add a few drops of the standard caramel to my mix to give it a slightly more sweet taste.

I also prefered the blending of standard and candy caramels. I only use 20% of the flavor, 25% PG based 100mg nic and 55% VG. It seems plenty sweet to me.

I have over flavored manay juices by not letting them sit for At Least 24 hours before trying them. 48 or more hours is best.
