Thanks for a great thread…. i've been using single flavor TFA juices so far, but i do mix a couple different flavors when i drip.
this is dumb but for some reason I'm not seeing the logic in following recipes here by %….
If I find that ie 10% is good for a couple of flavors used alone… (flavor 1 and 2) , if I were to combine them in a recipe it would look like this?
5% flavor 1
5% flavor 2
correct?
So by following the recipes included in this thread where multiple flavors are included, the given various % for each flavor are straight up input in a recipe calculator as is?
Flavors interact in funny ways. Just because a flavor tastes good at a certain % when stand alone doesn't mean it will taste the same when mixed. Yes, follow the %'s in the recipes and adjust from there for your own tastes. Everyone is different. I find 5% is a good starting point for testing, but I don't use/follow your logic of 10% = 2 5%'s.
But as with everything else in DIY, if it works for you, DO IT !
