Yea, maybe i remember it wrong. It was 2 or 3.5 ml.
I've been out of the loop for awhile, so trying to catch up now and see what's going on. :)

Doesn't seem many ways around this 10ml rule. Doesn't affect the DIYers, but I do feel sorry for those of us using shop bought juice, going to be difficult for them. Hopefully Swedish government doesn't ask for clarification and just lets the companies get on with it, can't understand the need for these rules, saw it was to prevent accidental ingestion (poisoning) yet I can walk 5 mins up the road and buy litres of bleach in a single container!

Suppose once the rules come in fully, us in the UK will find out which companies are interpretating the rules in the way that favours us as opposed to what the EU actually want. Looks like you were right before though regarding the refillable containers section. Great news!

Actually now I rethink and remember it, the 2ml limit in the UK applies only to pre filled tanks/cartridges - and as most aren't prefilled that's another loohole to be exploited.

Hence my recent purchases of an Limitless XL, Artic V12 & another Smok Baby. 4 tanks now above the 2ml limit.

Can always order them in from abroad though, long as customs don't check (or get one that doesn't know the rules fully) should be ok.

Yea i agree the reasoning for poisoning is riddic. And in the end we will most likley just buy 10x10ml pure nic base or similar instead of one big bottle.
And ye ontop of the 10 ml rule there will most likley be heavy taxes ontop due it counts as a tobacco product. Atleast around here. So vaping will be more expensive than actually smoking.
    So dumb.
But i guess it's the money that talks, big tobacco n all.

    Edit:

Aha i see, so maybe i had right in my mind then about 3.5ml max size of a tank.
But i don't see why they would do that limitation, it's going to be impossible for them to enforce that. Tho that change won't hurt me due using mainly kayfuns with the mini extension anyway so its 3.5 ml ^^

I would suggest that if you're in the UK and can get a few vapefriends together, buy a bulk purchase of 72mg nicotine - stash it in the freezer - and if you only ever buy shop-bought, buy it at 0mg and add the nic yourselves. I'm a DIYer so already have a freezer full - well I only vape at 3mg so a little goes a long way!

Yes that wholesale exception has been written into the UK TPD rules. Another loophole to exploit. Yay.

Unless and until the regulatory legislation is amended to state that you must have the appropriate retail license (and tax ID) to purchase wholesale tobacco items. To be fair, I don't live in the UK, so that might already be covered under different regulatory authority.

One of the perks of Brexit, if EU ammend it somewhere along the line, we are no longer forced to accept and can tell the EU where to stick their rules with no repercussions.

It's unlikely the UK government will want to touch the TPD, it's a forced EU legislation and UK Government has far more important things to focus on at present. Hopefully the TPD won't even make the cut when we start disposing of EU legislation.

The 10mg bottle limit is already in effect in Denmark. Read about Finland at Vaping Post today. Depressing!

Limiting consumer bottles to 10-15 ml will accelerate diy and squeeze out the vape shops. Getting rid of the vape shops is the point. They help people switch out of smoking, can't have that.

We got the same ongoing in portugal.. Can't buy locally any better than 10ml/18mg.

I'm currently ordering online 1liter/100mg and I plan on stocking up before May.. Better be safe than sorry.

I do think that bases and aromas will still be available freely, but not sure about mods and drippers/tanks.. Probably having a couple of trusty mechs and sturdy rda's in the stash would be a good idea.

In Poland, tpd regulations are in full control. Nicotine free - premix juices are freely sold even you can find 100 ml bottles, nicotine shots 18mg 10ml around 90 cents.

I will be making a one liter 3mg nbase with nicotine shots in it and it will cost me around 17 euros total. Tpd regulations are not so bad imo, the worst part is not having tanks bigger than 2 ml. I go through 10 mls of juice a day, pain in the butt.

Damn I didn't even know about all of this! What about buying these bigger tanks from Hong Kong? At any rate I have my tanks, just hope it doesn't affect me buying coils for them. As for the liquid, it's a damn shame, but I reckon, since I'm already vaping at only 3mg, I should be able to switch to 0 without going back to cigarettes. I hope. I'm definitely not about to spend as much cash on e juice as I used to on tobacco...

Subohming got here in time :)
Tootle puffers who are used to hi-octance vapes might find it a bit taxing.
But for most hardware nowadays, 3 to 6 mg/ml appears to be the mainstay.
And that is achievable with buy nic-free and lcing it with nic-shots to your liking.
That 10ml limit generates a lot of additional plastic waste for sure. Rather idiotic, considering that the board who cooked up these regs also had some 'specialists' from environment protection agencies...

With Brexit , both Britain and the EU got a looooong to-do and to-negotiate list. TPD doesn't rank high, I guess.

The French managed to translate/interpret the 2ml max tank size as relating only to pre-filled tanks/cartridges so larger tanks are still available here - in fact my 4ml Innokin Zenith arrived today :)
