I'm getting an order together for supplies for weighing up 50ml .6mg eliquid batches. I'll start slowly with 120ml 100mg nic divided into 30ml bottles for storing.

The question I have is, what is the easiest less messy method for transferring the thick cold VG nic to the mix when weighing? A syringe doesn't quite seem like an easy way to go or is it? 30ml of nic will last me for 6 months to a year so I don't think warming it each time would be a good idea.

Your working nic shouldn't be cold, but room-temp and usually we use an "only" 90% vg solution, but personally I just use the working bottle directly, as I find it easy enough to just slightly pour and then slow down and add the last drops quite easy direct from the bottle, but otherwise you could e.g. slap on a glass-dropper to your bottle if it'll fit i.e. I have glass bottles for nic with polycone caps, but also glass-dropper-caps which I can put on the working bottle once taking up from freezer, although I find I don't need such as the regular pouring is fine for me. Or else use a plastic pipette or a glass dropper not in the bottle cap etc.

Edit: To your question above, that was the reason I suggested adding the glass-dropper with rubber bulb, after taking it up from freezer, so it will not be on for very long at a time...

I'm not sure how easy it is to pour 3 to 6ml of nic accurately and would not want it to run down the outside of the bottle. Not sure this would even be a problem though. I like the idea of using a dropper or pipette or how about those Euro droppers, would room temp nic drip from one of those I wonder? The Euro may not be an option because I only see quantities listed but...

I have no problems pouring 3-6ml's nic, but I also don't really care if it's ~ 0.05 grams wrong or so... No regular euro-droppers I don't believe will work with there 1.5mm I believe. There are at some stores some little bigger ones in 2mm, but still I don't think I would myself be happy with that...

Yes, then just use either an old dropper from a dropper bottle, a disposable pipette, or buy some glass-droppers with same neck size as your bottles, and then as I suggested before, attach that instead of polycone cap when taking one out of freezer...

Sounds good, I'll try dripping it and go with the 10ml working bottle. Maybe have a pipette handy if I fail this technique. I like not having to buy more than I need to have. thanks

One more question if I may. Do you think it would work better to keep 30ml bottles in freezer then transfer to 10ml when needed to minimize the number of bottles or just fill 12 10ml with the 120ml nic?

Since your weighing, funnel some nic. in to a 15ml plastic bottle and use that to squeeze/drop it in to your final mix. What's to think about?

I'm not sure I have enough time to begin explaining my OCD.

But, I just like to work out the details beforehand. I have ideas of how I'd like to do it ideally then there is the practicality that will override the ideal that can only come from experience of which I have none.
