Canadian hockey is pretty huge - The NHL playoffs are like national holidays, and Canadians make up more than 50% of the NHL.

That said - hockey is huge in Europe, too, but it's spread out among a lot of smaller countries. I love watching the IIHF championships.

I thought you were talking about curling or something. Canada is not a minority in hockey.. Atleast I don't think they are but then I don't play or follow it to the "insane" level that some folks here do.

Half Canadians now, but once it was all Canadians. I'm looking forward to the Olympics and seeing who wins the gold. I remember the original 6 NHL teams and now there are 30. Of course now my team is at the bottom of the barrel but we did win 4 in a row.

The Original 6 is still a 'thing' for the Original 6...it's like a built-in mega-rivalry.

The Canes are in 2nd place in their division - they're not half-bad this season.

I played PeeWee, but really haven't payed attention to it since I was a kid. I doubt I even know half, if any, of the players anymore.
