Trying to get my mom to start vaping

Mouth hit than inhale - don't take it right into the lungs - might help
This always puzzles me. Why is it recommended to people new to vaping to inhale differently? I occasionally enjoy an analog still so I've been smoking over 8 years now. This is how you smoke, whether it's vape, tobacco, or weed. It's not a hookah (read breathing tasty air). Am I missing something here?

For long term smokers throwing vapor at your lungs is very much an insult to injury thing. I don't know any 20-30 year smoker who isn't already throwing multiple coughing/hacking fits per day to begin with. (Or if they say they aren't they are usually in deep denial about it.) You can't breathe all that good already, trying deep lung inhaling something else on top of it - like possibly a high PG liquid which is known to be a lung and throat irritant. (Look it up on Dow Chemical. Even they admit - through testing - that it has the potential to be irritating.) There's no mystery here. A lot of people can't lung inhale vaping until they get the crap cleared out of their lungs from smoking.
