Is the mini with the 'mini' for the letter i the same as the 2.5 threads ? Cause if so I tried to screw in one of the telescope tubes from my natural an after like 2 turns it felt really tight and I wasn't gonna force it to find out.
1. I'm not positive, but I think that all the Minis have "mini" for the I, however, on my 2.5, the logo is etched in rather than printed on it.
2. In the experience of myself and others, you can work The Natural's extension pretty hard into the Mini without damaging the threading on the device. I'm not positive, but I think lithe tightness has to do with the unfinished "sharpness" of The Natural's threads. You will still end up with a small gap and maybe half a thread showing on the extension. It's possible that lightly using some emery cloth or very fine sandpaper very lightly on the extension tube would eliminate this, but I can't be positive because I haven't done it.

Hah, love your disclaimer. I think I'll just leave my Provari Chinese free lol. I only own one 18650 battery and a ton of 18350s anyhow. Though I should pick up a 490, I've had a Crown sitting around doing nothing for 2 months that I want to try in my Natural.
Heh. Yeah, I just don't want anyone claiming that I inspired them to wreck their threading.
For me, The Natural's 18650 tube is a temporary solution until I find a Hippo/Twins set available....but I've got it on there right now with an 18650 in my mini without any issues.
I also just saw that The Tatroe rings are being sold individually, so either 1 plus the extension, or 2 plus the standard end cap will allow for 18650 use in the Mini.
Edit: OT, but let me know how the Crown works out for you. I've got a Kick and I think it's great, but the Crown looks interesting and more convenient.
