...rather wonderful friends too!
Wow, I'm a painter myself but NEVER in your league. You have a new fan girl here for sure, I gasped when I saw the 2nd piece. Lovely.
The plums? I was pleased with how those plums turned out ..the tree didn't do so well this year, but they are lovely plums.
I have bookmarked this link.
Thanks!
Pictor, simply beautiful work. You are a very talented member of the family! I enjoyed the link.
Thank you so much! I'm proud and glad to be amongst such a great family of people!
I HAVE NO WORDS to do this justice, Trisha! I knew you were such a sweet and special person, then later that you were a painter - but your work is beyond spectacular.
I am so proud to know you and to call you "friend"!
Happy to call you friend too - you're rather special yourself!
Same goes for Megan
Simply stunning work! Now stop making me hungry!
Believe me, by the time I get done with it, most of isn't fit for eating! The camera is my friend on many occasions.

I am in awe and at a loss for words which is really quite rare!
Thank you so much! I like to think they instil a calm quiet - but don't you
stay quiet!
Trisha,
Your work is breathtaking!
You're very kind - you've produced amazing work too!
Well! I'm a bit concerned that this has drifted off topic and Marc's original first post, but to me, if it weren't for Nicoticket: Clark, Katy & Co, this happy family wouldn't exist in this place.
If it weren't for my first bottle of NT, I wouldn't have found the US site nor this section of ECF, and especially all you lovely people.
I used to be very disciplined, often working 14-16 hours every day.
Two things happened to alter my working days: my husband retired, so my day got shifted along a bit to spend more time with him, which was fine, and almost 8 months ago, I had my last cigarette - and since then, I've slowly been losing that motivation, concentration and focus.
It dawned on me quite recently that all my adult life, everything I've done has been under the influence of nicotine, and it being a brain stimulant, I think it's the missing link, and the answer to why I've been drifting further off course.
There's obviously things in
tobacco nicotine that isn't in the refined
e-liquid nicotine. ...and no, I'm not about to start smoking again!
After hunting around, I've found a couple of things that may just help me regain some of that ability to focus for long hours - time will tell if it works.
Being troubled with vertigo these past weeks has only served to make things worse, but thankfully, that's slowly improving.
In the meantime, all these wonderful words of encouragement are already having an effect: I feel humbled and duty bound to live up to those kind words which have given me smiles, goosebumps, and 'wet drips' in my eyes!
I
must shake off these doldrums, and make more effort to stay true to my instinct for firm working motivation. It won't happen overnight, but all of you have at least given me a reason and incentive to do my utmost!
You've not only encouraged me with your wonderful comments, but you've given kindness, understanding and love to Jeff & Megan too - both superb artists in their own right.
Thank goodness for Nicoticket! This little corner of joy wouldn't exist without it!
