hey Ray whats up brother

man you are one of those real die hard mech dudes
the biggest difference I think you will see immediately is #1, no more weekly contact cleaning and maintenance, just keep swapping batteries or usb charging every night and that's it, always just a soft feather touch of the button and "click", full power hit, just like you would get on a good mech with all silver contacts right after cleaning all the contacts, but then it just stays like that, week after week, month after month, just a soft "click" of the fire button and instant 100% fire... that's probably the single biggest thing that drew me to regulated over mechs personally, I hated all the contact maintenance and having to keep pressing harder and harder as the contacts degraded....
then of course there are all the other benefits like rudy speaks of, the list goes on and on but the soft click, always fire at 100% is probably the single biggest benefit of regulated over mech to me. now aside from the adjustability and dial-in-ability of a regulated mod in general, secondary to that is temp control... temp control is the kind of thing that many will think they don't really need until they actually experience it, you don't really have to experiment with temp control on a regulated mod like this, you can still use it just like you are now with kanthal or SS in straight power mode but I would highly recommend at least playing with temp control a bit, it can be a little finicky and there is a slight learning curve as there are some differences compared to what you are used to but the benefits to me are well worth the slight learning curve I'd say ...
as far as size and weight, this mod feels very much like a woodvil in hand, about the same size and weight and feel in hand, except I think that the squonk hole placement makes it even more comfortable to use for most people, less shifting of the mod around in hand between squonking and firing position and you can tailor the left or right hand orientation and squonk hole preference to the way you yourself hold and use your mod. this mod is actually slightly wider and a bit shorter in height than a woodvil but it's close enough that it has about the same in hand feel overall...
as far as durability I would put this mod up against just about any other out there, the only achelies heal of a regulated mod like this is water, you are not going to be able to drop it in a lake and then fish it out and keep vaping but other than liquid damage this thing is just as durable as some mechs and even more durable than many too, the chip is a replaceable component so a mod like this will last for many years no problem and the chips are no where near as delicate as some people think they are, chips not going to break if you drop the mod or kick it around a bit, the chip can last for years, some of my very first regulated mods are still going strong years later, to me what I see is either the chip dies right away which is very rare these days, or it just lasts for years as long as you don't submerge it or anything like that, they are far from delicate...
