Old stock vs. new stock. All of the ones that I have received over the last couple of months have the graphic.

The "wide band" vs. "thin band" has been beat to death in a bunch of threads... no need to rehash here.

By the way, why do you buy the TW attys which are $15 when you can get Joye 510 attys for $8 with free shipping?

The TW atties ARE Joye atties.

That being said.... I only buy atties from TW during their birthday sales... which makes it quite cost effective (in the 5-pack). Almost all other times, I'll get them from Cignot.

Sorry I'm going to have to grill you a bit more:p

Why buy from Cignot, they're $25 for 3 plus $5 shipping which comes out to $10 a piece, and if you're loyal to them, why buy from TW when the attys are on sale?

And how much do the 5 packs cost at TW when they're on sale including shipping?

Ditto on that birthday sale - hell of deal. Sept is a long way off :(
$34.98 shipped during sale. There is a small mr wicked logo on the atties but not that noticeable

If they're exactly the same as the Joy510 atty, then there is no reason to buy them at TW when they're on sale. At TW when they're on sale it's $35 + $7 shipping - 7.5% = around $40, which comes out to $8 a piece. At some places if you buy 5 you can get them for a bit over $7.

I just received a reply, she told me they're the same as the standard Joye510 attys but she also told me there's isn't any logo on the atties, only on the bottom of the Tornado.

I just ordered a couple Joye510 attys from Rocky Mountain to compare to the attys I have.

Confusion....

The Tornado battery has one logo on it. At the end.

The atties that come with the Tornado have a logo on them.. same as all of the other TW 510 atties.

The atty cover (cone) has no logo on it.

Clear?

As somebody else has already mentioned.. when TW has their sale it is ~30% off. So.. excluding shipping.... each atty goes for about $5.60. I say "excluding shipping" because when I buy stuff from TW during their sale, I buy all kinds of stuff and the shipping price gets amortized over a lot of items.

I buy atties from Cignot because I buy almost all of my liquid from them (ECOpure) and they charge me essentially a flat rate on shipping. Soooo... when I buy liquid I sometimes add an atty or two to the cart. Shipping on the atty is essentially free.

I know this, I own one. Amanda at TW told me there wasn't a logo on the atty, which shows me she doesn't know much about the product.

Makes more sense:)

Amanda is pretty sharp and has always appeared to know the product line quite well.

Perhaps she got confused by the way your worded the question.. or made a simple mistake.

I received another thin strip Joye510 atty, I have a couple more arriving in a couple of days.

I decided to do a blind test, I cleaned all my attys, and let them dry. I then closed my eyes, mixed them up, and then tried to figure out which ones were the ones I got in my Tornado and eGo kits and which ones were the thin strip ones. I did this by just blowing in and out of the top end of the attys. I got it right 4 out of 5 times, now that can't be a coincidence.
