I started out at 19 with Honda 50 then 90 to 125 to 250. Rode a Yamaha from California to Olympics in Quebec but didn't like that bike much.
Last bike was Honda Rebel 450. All my friends at the time had Harleys and would "let" me ride with them since they said it was the closest thing to a Harley. I always let them start their bikes first because I
knew mine would start. lol
I love bikes and it is the absolute best way to see the world.
Best ride was in Australia.
Fell off a ladder in '95 and shattered my leg and haven't ridden since. I miss it and yet something tells me to be very happy with all the places and years and miles I have ridden and to be content with convertibles and open windows - for now.
Oh yeah, my mom was the first woman to go up Pikes Peak solo on a motorcycle - 1936 Indian. She also worked her way
thru college with the Hell Drivers. She was billed as the "Campus Coed" and went
thru walls of fire. No helmets like today but she had a purple leather outfit and a fitted matching leather aviators-looking helmet.
