I prefer LR and sub ohm. The AGI build is 1.2 ohm with the .6 ribbon. I'm using two strands of 3 mm silica for lots of juice, to prevent quick dry outs. If you're looking for higher resistance go with .4 or .5 ribbon. I use those sizes for my smaller RDA's.Also, are you choosing the mid-range resistance because you are trying to hit a specific ohm or to use less drain on your battery? What ohm ranges should I expect with the .6 x .1 mm ?
I also have some .3 mm x .1 mm from Kidney Puncher. That stuff is tiny, but good stuff.
Absolutely ! I have like 10 spools from TemcoYeah, but this was a really good price and no shipping either. Works for me, I bought a spool. Thank you!
edit: mimimalsaint if you want any of this spool, just holler!
The Kanthal is threaded through the post eyelets, and tightened. I had drilled a hole in one of the posts. Stock came with only the negative post eyelet.
It's not hard as long as you tap the post with a sharp hard point. I used a .9 mm drill bit for the holes. My AGI came with no holes in any posts. How difficult is it to drill holes?
View attachment 275742View attachment 275743 This is how I set up my AGI. Just great wicking, without the SS fuss.
The silica is just laying and pinned between the base and mesh.I'm trying to figure out how this wicks. Do you have silica on the inside of the mesh?
In time they all burn black. It depends on how the flavoring withstands excessive heat. Some flavor compounds hold up better than others. Is blackening of a wick in any way a function of how good or poorly a coil was made? Or do they all get black?
Heat changes a flavor drastically. That's what I love about vaping. I've been making my juice for almost 3 years.Ah. I hadn't considered the flavorings were part of the equation. It's interesting how different juices taste depending on what method you are vaping them.
