I Love my e-cig. I may vap the rest of my life and so what. I swapped to get rid of the other 4000 chemicals not nicotine. I'm down to 11 or 12mg. nic and have been analog free for 7 days. And it has been easy but I don't see it as cheating. I recognize that I need the hand to mouth thing. Definately have an oral fixation. I am perfectly happy to vap the rest of my life. Worst stuff in the enviroment than nic.:p

I totally agree sassy, i'm also at 12mg and almost at 5 months with vaping. I smoked for a long time and i have no intentions of quiting vaping anytime soon or ever! And you know if you've already made it a week then you are thru what should have been the hardest time. I feel so fortunate that this was not a hard transition at all..

@gasp:
My e-cig was a HUGE HIT! It got passed around many, many times. I'm not a germaphobe so this didn't bother me one bit. A few folks had seen/heard of them, and didn't really know what it was about, so I was able to give some education. I passed out my personal business card with the forum addy! So hopefully-he said maybe next time we bowled he'd be analog free like I am!

BTW, I had zero trouble with cravings...until I finally decided there was no better place to unload my remaining half pack of analogs. Now, there aren't too many folks who smoke my brand, in fact I know one other person. I had no idea analogs could smell different, I always figured an analog was an analog was an analog, you know? But its not true! My friend, who took my half pack, immediately lit one up. I gave him my lighter too...such a big step! After only 4 days! Anyway...I smelled my cigarettes. I haven't yet had such a longing...I wanted to cry, take back my own smokes, and light up. But I didn't...so my last memory of American Spirit Organic Lights will always be remembering how wonderful it smelled.

I am certain, however, that it doesn't taste nearly as wonderful as my pv, so I hope the memory doesn't become too fond! Maybe I should have taken a hit, just so I knew how awful it tasted. But I knew that I would feel sluggish and gross from just one hit - so I stayed away.

@ Karl the HeretiK - I am far more than a massage therapist. I've had more than my share of proposals from clientele, and you must know, I can't rub one person all day long for the rest of my life...I'd get bored, you'd get bored, and we'd die of starvation and poverty! That being said, my husband and I have a rich relationship that is NOT based on my massage skills! :p I'm not offended, and I realize you are being silly, but I wanted to give you a worthy answer!

I'm back to vent, again. I'm really unhappy about my husband forcing me outside with my pv. I pay half and I do mean HALF, of all our bills, but because he hates seeing it I am forced outside. I never wanted to smoke analogs in the house, so why am I so bothered by not being able to vape in the house? It just seems so unfair! I told him he had to go snack outside, because I hate seeing him snack in front of the tv. Do you think he went outside with his potato chips? Nope. He sat here and watched the show we're watching (Oscars) and ate chips. I want to vape! ARGH! I end up sneaking around the house, taking it to the basement when I do laundry, taking it in the bathroom, I'm a criminal in my own home!
It just doesn't make any sense. And he won't hear any logic, he just doesn't want to see me doing it.

ok, 2 posts at once. lol yes, that would be one heck of an expensive massage. but it would be fun to sit around and talk story afterward :)

and just take his chips away from him. if he's not going to let you vape in the house then make him suffer too. :)
just my $0.02 though.

Hope you have some of the non-premium cartos.... the snap, crackle, and pop on those will give ya away. :p

HR has stated that vaping at my desk is seriously frowned upon. Hasn't stopped me. I did tell my boss that she'd still see me with my eCig to my mouth as that was preferable to chewing on a dirty pen, which she was cool with... and then I vape away.

Pull lighter on the carto (although that sucking sound is a heck of a lot louder to you than it is to those around ya), hold the vapor in your mouth and lungs a bit longer. When you exhale, either do it through your nose or aim down so the little bit of remaining vapor doesn't go up and outward. And don't forget to cover the led at the end of the battery!

The one and only premium carto I have was a bonus...and I vaped all the way through it with zero noise. I refilled it today, and all of a sudden, I hear the snap-pop. I'm like, wtf? But it still tasted so nice, so I didn't care...

Thanks for the instructions. I'll have to practice in front of a mirror. I wish he'd fall asleep already. :p

I just wanted to say, from a comment that you made in the beginning, that there are a lot of relatively safe things out there that we may choose not to give our kids...

Now, I have chosen NOT to vape around my kids, not because I am worried about the vapor per se, but because they are teens and it still looks like smoking, but that is MY choice...

Must teach you the methods of stealth vaping.

*hugs* I know it's rough, but hang in there.

And remember, boys are stupid sometimes. (yeah, girls are too, but that's not the point here!)

lol as my girlfriend and my oldest daughter are so fond of saying...
"boys are stupid. throw rocks at them."

luckilly neither of them have thrown rocks at me...yet.

Yeah I don't vape around my kidlets either. At least, not anymore than I ever smoked around them. But it never fails, if I head outside, one of them has to stick their head out the door to find out where I am and what I'm doing. I showed it to them, I explained I was quitting smoking, and that was that. I agree that its not a good idea to make smoking seem acceptable in any form!

Actually....being a chip lover myself...I'd be more upset if you stepped on the bag and crushed my chips accidentally then hiding them or taking them away....;)

But think about what you're saying. Of course I'd be furious if he wrecked my pv in some way, and he's not hiding it, he's forcing me to do something I find relaxing in a way that I find uncomfortable. When do you eat chips? When you're sitting on the couch, watching tv, or hanging out with friends, or things like that. When you're RELAXING. I haven't too often whipped out the bag o chips for dinner. Neither do I plan to whip out my pv at dinner, but I will always have it with dessert or coffee...lol.

I came back to post that my sniffer seems to be working today. I smelled my clients gum. New thing...but I'm also kinda achy all over today. Not good for a therapist, it goes straight to my hands...but I dropped all my juice to low so I expected some symptoms around now. :D PROGRESS!
