Hello.
Has anyone else experienced this?.This is my second day using the mini e-cig and after inhaling (sometimes) I can feel a strange heavy like sensation in my chest,Im assuming my lungs more like.I hope this is just me adapting to the new way of smoking.
Im really hoping Im not one of the unlucky ones thats unable to use this as I think its great cos I just went to light up my first "real" cig of the day i.e.5PM,and put it straight out as it was horrible,so some good is comming of this :)

This discomfort might be from your chest starting to clear as you are not smoking cigarettes as much, this is only my opinion though

I noticed this at first as well. Lungs felt "Full" or "Heavy" but it soon passed. I'm allergic to high concentrations of PG, but if its split at least by 35-50%, I'm fine. If you were allergic to PG, you would have much worse symptoms IMO.

Dee- I experienced several times a burnign sensation in the lungs that made it difficult to inhale the E-Cigg- a burning like when you get Bronchitis (Those hwo get bronchitis will know hte feeling- like inhaling fire into your lungs everytime you take a breath).

At first I thought maybe I was just coming down with a cold in hte lungs, but then I recently received two atomizers from SmartFixx, and I discovered that one of hte atomizers caused this burnign sensation i nthe lungs, and the other oen did not- I kept switchign back and forth to make sure, and each time hte result was the same- After a week of use htough, The one htat was causing the burnign i nthe lungs has mellowed out mostly- still get it a little bit, but when it first came, it was quite pronounced and I almost couldn't use it at all, but I hung in htere thinking that whatever was in the steel wool would diminish enough to point it wouldn't do that anymore, and sure neough, that's exactly what happened

I also noticed it definately was the atomizer, and not a cold because I could smoke a real ciggarette, and htis burnign would not happen, and were it a cold, it would also cause hte burning with real cigg- so definately it was the atomizer

Makes ya wonder what's in the Atomizers when they arrive

i find a real powerhouse smoke producer will make anybody splutter.. the same with a weak or strong normal cig.. are u sure it not just down to the smoke producing abilities dropping off.. with a brand new atomizer and good prime my pipes have to be dragged on with care.. a hefty drag and full inhale make your eyes water.. he he

when new these things always come with nice a factory prime.. unless dripped the atomizers never gets the same amount of liquid around it as that factory prime..

Yes I'm sure Tog, as I wondered that myself, but hte fact is that I was switching back and forth between the two atomizers during hte day to test this out- Both were brand new atomizers, and both were producing approximately the same amount of vapor as they were borth factory preprimed and workign pretty good- one caused the problem, the other did not- so that answers it right htere for me.

the factory prime must be dried eliquid or the like on the atomizer itself. considering, most sit day, weeks, or however long before reaching the end user.

it would be interesting to see if you take a working atomizer, stick a few drops on it, then let it sit for a week. wonder what type of vapor it would produce.

very interesting indeed- unfortunately, I don't have a used one right now to try it out on-, but as my current one gets abit older, I'll definately give htis a try and see what happens- would be nice to get that factory primed performance back again, and htis just might be the ticket to do so.

i have let them sit.. none have ever dried out.. and they all need the initial (factory) prime before they work.. the cart just adds to the prime so to speak.. if during cleaning u ever dry one out completely nothing will come out of it when a cart is put in without a good prime first..

i think its just normal e liquid.. simply a nice dose of it.. direct dripping does much the same thing.. once one is sucked dry-ish while trying to empty the cart that nice prime is never put back..

u can keep the factory prime going with dripping or wet topping up the carts.. i find it essential.. but nice prime or not the efficiency of the atomizer soon drops off.. which is why mine will get binned every two weeks from now on..

over the last three months we have tried every trick in our pretty large books to keep the things going.. many times we have thought we found the answer but each time it as been a fluke and never worked reliably.. the mind of its own stage before permanent wimpdom seems par for the course.. at first it was fun playing.. i enjoy it.. but when the toy factor wears off they have to work properly all day and every day..

i really hate spending money on my habit.. eventually coming to the simple conclusion the things simply wear out after at best around 40 ml of fluid has gone the u them didnt come easy believe u me..

my desire now is to keep that as new performance.. when it drops off its the bin for the atomizer or battery..

You can keep a 'wet-prime' goign, but we're wonderign abotu a 'dry-prime' and if it would improve the performance of the atomizer- allowing hte prime to dry inside the atomizer, then 'wet-priming' it just prior to smoking- the dried residue might just produce a nice 'factory-primed' vapor once again without hte need for constant topping off- at least for a few days- just a thought- would be itnerestign to see if it works- there is definately somethign different abotu factory primed atomizers, and htis just may be the answer- allowing a prime to dry in the steel wool-

I get that heavy feeling too. It feels just like the first few breaths every time I step off a plane in Bangkok, Thailand. Humid, moist, and heavy air.

Think of each inhalation as a blast of humid air. When travelling in a humid climate, you'd adapt and stop noticing it, since you'd be getting it in every breath. Since you only get it when you e-smoke, you'll probably keep noticing it from time to time. But it's nothing to worry about.
