I had to have mine checked for E8 error... not user fault.
I was contacted on the forum here after posting my questions... i didn't have to even contact them.
I sent it in, and they fixed it and i had it back all within 10 days.
I had a Darwin that was problematic... overheating, not taking a charge. They sent new one before I could even send mine in... wow.
In the end, I got the same problem (just 2 bad units) and i accepted a refund (of course i paid shipping each time) which was super of them, but i gave up because the Provari is easier to use imo.
after all this: THey are both top quality pv's ... state of the (new) art... just different in small ways.
THere is a BUzz Pro coming out in a month, and an Eclipse eq..... that makes 4 new "smart" pv's.
IMO only way to go - regulated variable power.
The Infinity is a less expensive, less fine but still reg.variable power.
Unfortunately OP, this is a relatively new science (and made in America)... i consider myself lucky to be here with these new devices, and also a happy to support them.
