I have a couple V1 Provaris, which I keep meaning to send in, but haven't. As long as my coils are around 1.8 ohm, they work fine on the V1s.

Yes...to many, it sounds too cool to go low ohm, but there's really no good reason to go under the 1.5 mark on the V2 either. it's not made for low ohms period. at 1.5ohm you may get from the pro the same power as a mec at 0.8ohm with the benefit of doing it safely.
The only downside of the pro is, he's so massive, & kinda the ugly duckling too lol although I used to look at it like as piece of art. weird how perception shifts...

Yeah, that's why I haven't been in a hurry to send mine in. I also have a couple V2s, and I run about the same resistance on them as the V1s. Usually 1.6 to 1.8Ω
