Hi everyone,

I've been using my vaporiser now for a year since i gave up smoking last november and i'm now considering upgrading again.

I started with a Jacvapour V1P but soon got fed up refilling the cartomisers so after about 6 months i upgraded to a Jacvapour Vgo2 VV with Nova tank. While this is fine for work and out and about due to it's pocket size i feel the need for something better at home (especially as birthday and christmas are coming up).

Having done some trawling of the net i've seen a few possible upgrades that might do the job. I know Provari are considered the best by many but they are currently out of my price range, so i'm considering the Vamo V5 with pro tank 2 or 3.

Any other suggestions or advice would be greatful.

Also would the pro tank 3 add anything as it's twin coil (I know nothing about twin coils)

Thanks

Hello from across the pond. Welcome to ecf.

Vamo sounds good, but go with a protank II or a mini protank II. The Protank 3's do not have comparible heads so are more expensive. With the protank heads they also will work on an evod tank as well as most of the kanger products. But for some reason, the protank 3 is not compatible.
If you want a tank that you fill from the top, go with the unitank from kanger.. same heads as Protank II
:)

I am really happy with the MVP 2, I carry that and my Provari around. For the price it is beyond awesome. The main thing for me is portability and durability. The RBAs give a better vape but they wouldn't survive the commute or day with me.

Not sure about the Protank 3 as I don't have one yet but at Vapcon I got the AnyVape Davide Glassomizer and I think it came with the duel coils. I really like em the only con seems to be that it eats up batteries a little more but that seems worth it to me, more and warmer vape.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. Maybe i'll stick to the Pro Tank 2 for the time being.

The MVP 2 is definately in the right price bracket but is something about the squareness that puts me off lol

I'll probably get all the kit i need from myepack.co.uk as they seem to be the best for price. Anyone know if they're a reliable vendor?

The SVD are down in price, with the 134 and vtr being out now. Great devise good up grade. Even a good mech clone with a kick 2 would be great. Could get a kick and a mech for $100 or less. A Telsa or an SID would be fine too. Lots to choose from. Since you have be vaping awhile, I'd recommend a device that goes up to 6 volts and 15 watts, that way you could grow in your vaping without having to upgrade for awhile.

Personally, I would forget about a protank 2. It is way out dated and an under achiever. The PT 3 just came out, so would wait for the reviews on that. It's also pretty spendy, and could get a decent rba for the same price, like the fogger 2. Look at the Aspire BDC, great performing tank with replicable coil head for $10, great price.

Search around, do your research and buy quality and get what you want.

I'll give a nod to the MVP v2 for ya. I thought initially I would not care for the box type mod either. But after I got one in my hand, It was not as big as I thought. and it fits in the palm nicely. Its got a little weight to it, but nothing crazy. It feels substantial, and well crafted. I love mine, I thought because of the box, I'd just use it at home....I couldn't leave it there...I take it everywhere...Lasts 2 - 2 1/2 days easy with my habbits and I have recently started using alot of dual coil stuff. Before I started using more dual coils, I could easily not charge for 3 days.

Oh quick edit....I forgot to mention.....for delivery..I use Protank 2 mini's, Davide Mini's ( both of these single coil) and iclear 16's (dual coil). I like both for their own reasons, I originally bought the PT's and Davide for those tank cracking juices, wife and I both use Cinnimon, and I have a couple fruit ones that are mean to tanks. The iclears came with my MVP v2 and I loved em. The draw on the PT and Davide is a bit airy, I tend to block an air hole when I draw, and get decent flavor and tighter draw that way. I like the draw on the iclears the way they come, it is a bit tighter, the vape is warmer and I get a really good flavor without having to mess around with anything. No real leaking on any of them, sometimes a gurgle from the iclears, but easily dealt with.

I own both the Vamo V2 and V3. When it first came out a year ago it was the best APV for the budget minded but since then other supperior Mods have been released which appear to be better build quality. My Vamo V2 (9 months) button a little wonky). V3 (4 months) is fine. The only criticism I have of the Vamo is the quality is very hit and miss. I was one of the lucky ones.
The MVP 2 gets rave reviews for a few $$ more- complete kit.
If not liking the look of a box Mod you may want to check out the Sigelei ZMAX V3- needs batts and charger.
I own both and am very impressed with the build quality.
Compliments of Chrissie here's a link of reputable UK Vendors with discount codes. Note at top of page a link to a map of B&Ms:

Greetings; I have to second Vapoor's comment about the Vamo. I got a V3 recently, and I am not one of the lucky ones; buttons are failing after only three days use. The build quality does leave a lot to be desired.

Unless this is absolutely not possible, I think it's worth paying more for something with a better rep for build quality.

Regards
Glenn

A little bit of an update.....after watching loads of reviews I think I've decided to go for the Innokin SVD with the 2 iclear 30s. Now all I need to do is track down a decent priced kit. Unfortunately myepack.co.uk is still down for maintenance.
I decided to go for the SVD over the MVP because it is variable wattage and that seems to be the way to go.

As I have to buy the charger and batteries separately does anyone have any decent suggestions as to what I should go for?

Thanks

Nice gear. The SVD is a nice telescoping APV and affordable. The slightly higher Sigelei V3 is a good quality telescoping APV that I prefer, but about $20 more. Very nice. The MVP V2 does have variable wattage and is popular. Some prefer tube mods.

Regarding toppers, the Protank II is quite a good clearomizer as is the iClear 30S. I have not tried some of the newer cartos out there as I've been vaping mainly with carto tanks for the last 6+ months, and they are most definitely the bomb. Some people can taste the filler material. I can't and swear by them. When not using cartos I use a variety of RBA's. Loving the Kayfun right now. Ordering the new Kayfun Lite Plus TODAY. Listed and sold my Kayfun Lite yesterday in less than 2 hours at what I paid for it exactly. That was nice. Now I can get the upgrade.

I recommend the Sigelei V3 like Vapoor Eyes said and the Protank II, iClear 30S, or a carto tank. Good luck to you, power up and vape on!
